Hopefully I will get some of you to join me with getting creative with your editing programs for your digital pictures,,and title them, The program I have is a safe free down load,,, paintnet, I want Cindy's program But can't afford that one I haven't learned hardly anything yet matter of fact I have barely scratched the surface of it all,, but for starters I took a picture of my rock garden Angel just as the sun was at it's peak right before sundown,,,, after I loaded it on the computer I decided to have fun with it,, this is the original picture,, original......
first one I did off of it.
Angel Came from Heaven on a Sun Beam
More next post..........
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
The second one I did was,,,,, Even Angels Day Dream
and third one tho I'm not really happy with it when I noticed it was almost midnight I pretty much save it as is,, I may still tweek it tho,,
Look close Angels are everywhere,,,,,,
I could get creative with the program that came with this laptop,, but once I learned it,, I wanted more options,,, Let's see what cha' got,, I know you all have creative minds or else you wouldn't be at the Garden Helper!

I tend to decorate with my program. I use GIMP....it is a free download...I'm not sure how it compares to the one you got for free tho...haven't heard of that one. Anyways, here is a "decorated" photo that I did. The waterfall is one that is near where Stephen's mom lives.
I blurred and zoomed and shrank and I think I might have enhanced the coloring a bit too, but I can't remember.
Jenn I almost down loaded gimp! I just couldn't decide which to go with,, I love how you wrote within the picture too,, That is awesome! CNet has a list of down loads, I read the editor's review and then downloader's view and compare,, Did you use the same program with the your kids' pictures??
~
Thanks Jimmy!

These are all so cool to see! Diane you sure are creative!
Cindy, I can never thank you enough for fixing that picture....when I lived with my sister she ruined it by putting it on the fridge in one of those magnet frames. That's my favorite picture of the 2 of us.
Okay Cindy I'm going to have to call you and you need to tell me how to do layering like you did with the collage of pictures and how to restore like you did Loz and her Sister ,,,,, when your up to it that is ,,,,,, I haven't figured that out yet,* the layering) and layers back ground merg blending etc,, ,,,, I pretty much have the cloning down . Is the cloning tool involved in restoration of a picture??

I think Bill should make Mystery Guest a Hostess...that way since nobody knows who Mystery Guest is, he/she could jump onto people for stuff and they couldn't blame it on me or Loz or Jiffy!
I've been messing around with layers for a while now. Took me a heck of a while to figure it all out.
I also did a restoration job on a friends picture....it was pretty bad like mine, and when I fixed it she was overjoyed. I told her a friend of mine had once fixed my picture and I was passing on the good deed.
I use Serif's free photo program. It's not bad for being free.
Diane - those last 2 pictures of yours are really cool! I love the way you perched the bird and fairy on the branches, and all the other clipart as well!
And the one of Cindy - well what can I say? Too cool!!!
I haven't used any of the programs that you do so well with, but I did like the way this picture came out of a tree 2 autumns ago.
Took this picture this afternoon,, ,,,,, Today I'm feeling melancholy ,, and for some reason this rose touched my sensitive side, sometimes God's gifts of beauty can be overwhelming,
