lol well I never measured it Jiffy so I'll have to guesstimate it for you...

I'd say about 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup white sugar and cream that with 2 eggs. Add a 1tsp vanilla and about 4 tbsp cocoa and a handful melted chocolate chips(makes them gooey~I use milk chocolate). Mix again, then take about 1 cup flour, pinch salt and 1 tbsp baking powder(mix dry together than add to wet mix)...you can add a splash of milk as well to make a thinner mix. You can add 1/2 cup nuts of your choice.

Pour in greased and floured pan @350* for about 25 to 30 minutes (depends on how thick or thin you made the batter).

I use my hand to measure everything and my handful is about 1/2 cup so I know it's a handful of each with a double handful of flour so it'll be close haha I'm not a measurer.

Oh forgot to add, you can take a half package of cream cheese and blend it with about 1/4 cup sugar and a half an egg. Beat well(with mixer) and marble through the brownie batter. Just drop spoonfulls on top and swirl it down and through with a knife. Instant cheesecake brownies, then add the remaining 1/2 block of cream cheese into your chocolate icing.

lol i'm not a measurer either, but i know my hands are bigger than yours! lol

i'll try it out and if it works, i'll post it in the recipe section!

how big a pan? could it work in a loaf pan? i don't want to turn on the big oven and my loaf pan fits in the toaster oven.

I use an 8 by 8 or 9 by 9 pan. Not sure on the loaf pan, they might burn on the edges by the time the gooey batter would rise in the middle. Just make them in muffin cups if you have a small muffin tray. Just keep an eye on them, they'll cook in about 15 minutes or so...maybe less.

My icing is a big spoonful of soft butter with a big spoonful cocoa powder or melted chocolate(either works as well) use equal amounts, add a few spoonfuls of canned evaporated milk and a few scoops icing sugar...again, I don't measure but you get the feel of it if you need to add more icing sugar or milk.

I use Easter bunny chocolate alot for my recipes...I buy alot at easter and chop and freeze, alot cheaper than buying the chocolate in the baking section.

that sounds like a really neat idea! I'll let my cousin know about that. she bakes a lot and has been selling to family and friends. that surely sounds like it would cut her cost.

not much going on around here today. having a nice relaxing day for a change.

Good morning, sure was quiet in here yesterday. Hopng everyone had a great Labor day.

I'm gonna spend the day inside ctching up on things. It's also time to take out the heavy quilts for the bed....fall is around the corner and winter will soon be on it's way.

Found sale for our extra round baled hay, the farmer is coming tonight...and that means I can now go buy a futon to put in DD's room. Gonna try get it this week end. thumbup

I've been married about half that, Jiff. Our 'little ones' are still little and no really around to watch them. Our 'dates' consists of when they go to bed early and we can sit on the porch and have a cold one without being interupted...mommie...mommie.....he hit me, something bit me, whats for breakfast in the morning, where's my bunny, she threw my toothbrush on the floor...". ha ha ha. *cricket not complaining, but it IS funny* (wouldn't trade it for anything in the world)

yes, i remember those days. she's looking at me. he's breathing in my direction. make him scoot over, he is taking more than his 33.3333% of the seat...

oh, i remember those days well.

and our dates then was delivery pizza and backgammon in bed after the kids went to bed.

My dates consist of going to Walmart and we don't even have kids. egad Something went way wrong along our 11 years together. lol

Although we used to go on dates EVERY night. Back when we didn't have as many bills and we both drank. We go out to eat and end up at the bar. Little did I know Mark was draining his savings act to take me out.

Now he says he already has me he doesn't have to try anymore. rspb rolz tapfoot

To be honest though half the time I'd rather order in or pick something up that go out to eat. It's quicker, it's cheaper, and other people can't see me make a pig out of myself. lol

Would be nice this weekend to go bowling or go play mini golf or something though.
