I have 4 begonias in my foundation bed. I'd have had more but I found that they do not move at all well for me. Now it's getting to that time of year when I have to consider what I want to do with them. They do flower for a long time so I'm thinking I would like to take cuttings. Can anyone tell me which types of cuttings to take and what my expected success rate should be. I'd overwinter them indoors but I don't think they would make it.

I've taken cuttings off of begonias with no problems. I don't think I've killed a one now that I think about it. Just take the cuttings like you would any other plant. I've never grown them in the house before?

I bought several begonias these year...I keep them in pot since that should be easier for me to bring them indoor for overwinter. Hopefully they can make it!

Hi, I have several begonias and I leave mine in the ground but mulch them well. They do well and come up the next year. We tend to have milder winters tho. We do get snow but not a deep freeze. (once in a blue moon)I've never taken cuttings but I may try it just to see if it works for me.
