I have one just like that outside my kitchen window. She's been in the middle of her web for weeks. Does she leave during the day when I'm not looking?
no. Once in a while something gets caught in the web and she eats it but she's probably been there a month now (I posted pictures a while back) and she's always right there. She's not even spinning any more web now. I need to look this up.
This was on my glady today....What useful purpose do they serve?
I love to look at spiders when they are in their web doing their own thing, but if one gets on me I AM DONE FOR! AND...........................they eat flies! YAY!
Ummmm......yes......I'll taaaake an order of Black Widows......Supersized......an Arsenic shake.......OH!......and can I get an order of wasps with that?
Kingdoms RAGE and go to war...but the PEasants plant potatoes..
EARTH FIRST! (we'll strip-mine the OTHER planets later.)
dhuber, it's awful to walk through a web and I do it all the time. I guess it's because we have too many trees that we have webs everywhere. In the morning when it's dark and I feed the dog and cat I wave my arms around in front of me like a crazy person to hopefully knock down the webs as I walk in the yard.
