all sedums are blooming,, this group came from pieces Lynne sent me last year,,
I'm sooooooooo thankful for rain,,,,,, it was getting depressing to go outside and see where once was full and lush had become spare, brown and dry,, I was still getting blooms but only one and two at a time,, as opposed to how it had been the last two springs, just thought I'd share my excitement,,,,,, plants are greening up now and filling in .............. nature provides for us ... ultimately when needed Huh??

Diane - your flowers and plants all look so nice and green and lush and healthy! I've said it before and I'll say it again - you have the magic touch! I know you think the rain did it, but you kept them going through the drought of this past summer, and now they are performing for you to reward your kindness.
I LOVE that picture of the white clematis bloom - very very nice!
Thanks Lynne,,,,,,,,,,, I forgot to add this picture of a canna that has bloomed too, this is from the variegated leaf cannan
This topic was in relation to the storms in the gulf of TX and Louisiana related to the hurricanes,, as a result of the hurricanes,,,,,,,, we've had several gentle rains and cooler weather, and my yard and flowers are thankful and that makes me smile and want to share the beauty after the storm,(s)

Sorry Diane....If I would've saw the other posts I would've moved them too. It's not like I just moved it because it was your post--I felt like you took it personally and it's not that way at all.... It just fits here better as far as topics being placed go.
I love your flowers. Everything looks so nice and lush and green. Nothing like getting some good rains when everything is starting to dry up.

Danggggggggggggggggg...... Not personal at all why would you assume I took it personal Please don't assume a negative was implied, that's how thoughts and reactions move in the wrong directions with assumptions ,, .
Forget about it no big deal .
this is my first bloom bud of the entire spring and summer ,, this hibiscus has almost dead 3 weeks ago,,

Diane, it's no big deal--really....I'm not one to assume much ever, but it seemed it bothered you since you posted that about me moving it. I guess I did assume that if it didn't bother you you wouldn't have put anything at all. Like why did mine get moved when others aren't--that's why I thought that you took it wrong. You're my friend and sometimes I have to move my friends topics just like I'd move others topics, it's my job-but I always hate moving a friends post...like I should just let it slide. I just didn't want you to be upset that I moved one of your posts. But to keep things in the right spot is important.
Water under the bridge. We've just had a misunderstanding--easy to happen on the internet--forgot about. And hey you haven't called me in a while.....you owe me one--miss talking to you.
BTW, I'm glad your hibiscus is budding. My camellia bush is COVERED in buds. I hope the cold doesn't kill them this year like it did last year.
Diane - I LOVE the color of that canna!!! It reminds me of a delicious apricot!
And your hibiscus looks like my rose of sharon - yes, I know they are in the same family. My pink rose of sharon puts on a good display at first, but then as the heat gets to it, there are many many unopened buds the rest of the summer - bummer, because it would be so pretty if they all ever opened!
What else do you have growing better for you now that you've had some good rain?
I don't know if it was the heat and the drought combined sheri,, But now that we've had rain it has put on many many leaves and this bud,, it is in morning sun and afternoon shade,, where it has always been and always done well untill this past spring and summer we are wayyyyy down for rain fall this year, , Lynne I 'll have too look in the next day or two and see what is budding up keeping fingers crossed!!
