Went to the quarterly bird banding yesterday at the Warner Parks' Nature Center, here in Nashville, TN. BOY! Did we get the BIRDS!! Here are some of the Warblers from the DOZENS of great pics I got!

BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER

And watching it all from the safety and vantage point of the trees above, the most sought after and best-loved American Warbler of all, a Blackburnian Warbler!

What is this Bird? A morning dove maybe why it sat up there on that branch for the longest time and it was wayyyyyyy up there, in the tree I had to put the camera on landscape shot notme lol

That IS a dove, but NOT a Mourning Dove. That is a White-Winged Dove a very common Texas bird but NOT found in Tennessee where I live at all. When I lived in Texas, LONG before I was a birder, I remember seeing these doves a lot. I also saw Scissor-Tailed Flycatchers and Roadrunners in Texas. About 5 years ago, Armadilloes started appearing here in Tennessee and are rapidly increasing in numbers. They do WELL in our climate. I've personally seen two in the wilds myself in the last 5 years here in Tennessee.
