Silhouettes can be quite effective under the right conditions.

Love hummer pics.
Pretty silloutte.
This is my fave I took, I have a bunch more but they are not in Photo bucket.
Mine seemed to have left last week sunday, then yesterday I noticed one at one of the 2 feeders I left on the deck, All the others I took down, SAw it last night and this morning, and just a few minutes ago.
I hope I dont have another hanger on till Oct. like I did 3 years ago, that was so awful to watch.
It was cold, and I was warming its nectar. I hope this one is just stopping over for a rest.
I will find the rest of my hummer pics. I miss there chatter and buzzing already!

I have noticed, too, that Hummers also like Zinnias. They often head for my Red Zinnias and ignore the other colors.
