I've done something to my camera and can't fix it. I've now got a narrow black edging around every frame - when I look through the lens. Any ideas?

No. I've done something to the settings. It's closed the picture in with a black edge around the picture.

I can take it back to where I bought it. I was fooling around with the settings - don't ask me why - and that's how it ended up.

They should have a DEFAULT button on the menu screen that sets it back to the eway it was when you first tured it on. Don't press FORMAT though or you will clear your memory and erase any pictures you might have. Also, check your problem solving or FAQ sections of your User's Manual or go online to the help forum to get the answer to the problem.

Oh yes, the default menu button works well. I've had to do that a few times after changing it to take pictures from the train with a faster shutter speed.....I couldn't remember how I changed it so I just restored to default.

Usually goes back to default when we shut it off.

I think I must have done just that dodge. I was changing the settings but don't know how I did it and can't change it back.

If you look at the picture with my name and hummers that Bill made for me (right below this post) and imagine a black edge around the picture that makes the actual photo smaller - that's what I've done.

Page 142 in the book says

You have to use the compute to restore the camera to the defaults.

Use the softwar e(zoomBrowserEX

Did you try that ?

If you press your DISP button do you get the 9 pane grid? There is no place to ask questions about this camera. I found a spot to post a question but there's no one to answer it. Also what is the hand on the LCD screen? It's not for motion. There's another picture for motion and if I sit my camera down with no movement at all the hand is still there.

You do or don't get the grid?

You do or don't have the hand?

I do have the grid.....It goes off when the camera is shut off.

I don have the hand......I thought it was motion.. Or it means don't shake your hand.

if my hand isn't steady, or the camera thinks the picture will be blurry, there is a red hand in the view screen.

we rode our 4 wheeler yesterday too. Johnny doesn't have a motorcycle anymore. When he got sick he was too weak to hold it up so we got rid of it. What will you do with 55 peppers?

Do 55 peppers make a Peck? And were they pickled? Our family eats more peppers than any other vegetable. I have a half gallon of pickled Jalapenos, a quart bottle of crushed red Cayenne, and several small jars of Habanero peppers.
