we have something simliar that grows here called 'blue mist wildflower'. not sure if grows in pennsylvania or not though???

It isn't actually an ageratum, although it's often called hardy ageratum. It is Eupatorium coelestinum, a relative of Joe Pye
weed . It can be invasive, as it spreads by underground runners. I have some in the bed on the shady side of my house that I've been meaning to remove but never get around to it.
