we have something simliar that grows here called 'blue mist wildflower'. not sure if grows in pennsylvania or not though???

I bought some of that last year--
the catalog called it "Blue Mist Srub" I think it is some type of spirea???

It isn't actually an ageratum, although it's often called hardy ageratum. It is Eupatorium coelestinum, a relative of Joe Pye weed. It can be invasive, as it spreads by underground runners. I have some in the bed on the shady side of my house that I've been meaning to remove but never get around to it.
