You got some really cute things Kim, Sheri did a good job.

I too like fuzzy socks---my feet get SO cold in the winter.

Going off topic here, but Kim--how far are you from Lansing? My brother lives outside of Lansing and we might go visit him next Memorial Day.....would be cool if we had a chance to meet up! thumbup

You can add that:
Jonni13 (Tina)----->Received package from Juniegirl (Carol)
Boy I got so much cool stuff! I hope she was able to take a picture before it winged its way to me. Almost everything was gift wrapped with an individual note. That is wonderful and I keep swearing that my next box will be the same and it never is.
First of all, When Jonni comes home from school, she is going to abscond with the 'shrooms. Those are lovely and she loves them. She might even rip off the little Frankenstein toy you put in there for Ted.
Carol read my love for blue so everything is a blue theme. Even the little Willy she sent to me has a blue jacket on. I received a blue aqua globe and blue micro-fiber dish towels and wash clothes. Love the feel of those. And a blue dish scrub brush. I almost can't wait to try them.
The dragonfly rain gauge is awesome as well as just beautiful. Plant stakes for petunias and mint and a smaller one with a cute turtle.
There is a candle in a jar and some teas for me to retreat and relax with. (I will!)
I got a pretty leaf-shaped bowl an a birdhouse ornament as well as a tin decorative 'pocket' that says pansy seeds and has a seed packet for some blue flowers in it. Very cute. There is a beautiful notebook to keep track of my HG friends. Almost too nice for my scrawl to mess it up.
And I think my favorite thing is a a plaque (think rusty old license plate only not real rust) that Says "I Dig Gardening. This is so me!
Thank you Carol, You did very, very well by me. It was great fun to open and unwrap. And Jonni will get a kick out of going through everything again in a little while.
Aren't these swaps fun?

so glad you are pleased Tina--that means my mission was accomplished. clap clap

about the "dish bowl" I made that in ceramics, before my surgery---I got lucky it was the right color, huh???

it is really a bowl to go with a "cabbage bowl" to put on the table to keep your paper napkins and such in.
I make them to keep my S.O.S. pads or scrubbies in.
But whatever you think it would be good for, then that is what it should do.

They are very pretty. I have seen them in a couple of stores now, Walgreen's I think. I almost bought some for my gift swap too. But I was already loaded down with goodies to send.

sheri, I did order the one Tina has from the the internet. On the TV ad there was a web site addy.----

I got my first ones from a "as seen on TV" section in an "Alco" (it is like a small versaion of Wal-Mart) The girls tell me that stores like Wal-mart & the like have them as well.

one tip: I placed my filled globes into some pots then got the bright idea to 'water' the pot, so the water in the globes would last longer.--bad idea- the dirt in the globe neck became more wet than it would of and clogged up its neck, I had to use a shish kabob skewer to clean it out.

on the postiive side, I put them in my flower pots indoors before I went to the hospital, and flowers that had to be watered every few days went a week or more and was still in great shape. clap

I will start a thread about it if you like.. Theres a forum called the Dragon CAve.
This is a huge thing.. a 17 year old invented and runs it. The more views.. ie everytime anyone opens a page that you eggs are on, Clicks, they click on the egg and go to the description. or unique views thats different isp's viewing it will eventually get cracks and hatch and then grow up.
I will post a link to my scroll of all the dragons I have. Its fun and I am obsessive. There are many varieties. I have bred my dragons as well.
I see Loz has eggs too. haha

Oh Jiffy! I am thrilled that you liked it all. Now that I look at it all together it looks like fun stuff, I was not sure when I sent it.
LOL I love those buckets as well. They had all sizes but I had to stay a bit smaller. Got it at my favorite gardening shop, And you will have to let me know how those gloves work.. They are supposed to be great for weeding! Hope the Halloween Buzzards egg and popcorn ball were OK.
I was going to fill the whole pumpkin then I thought naa that should be reserved for whater you like!
Did you find the burts bees lip balm? I adore that stuff, I never get chapped lips anymore.
I just loved those vine pumpkins, I got a few more for me as well. They will be fine for thanksgiving, all thru fall. I try to think of things that will have longer time to be out.. I love Halloween stuff but the 31st is just one day, all those can be used for thanksgiving. I started with a gardening theme then got off on the fall holiday theme! Really hope you are happy. It gave me great pleasure! Kim luv

You did a great job, Kim. I like the theme to your choices.
(Jiffy might want to keep those gripping gloves near her front door)
We all put our box together then send it off and then wait nervously to hear of its reception. Wondering if everything is the right thing. You did very well.
