Hi everyone! It's a slow sunday at work today and I'm trying to get back into being a "regular" here again. I gotta get my posts up, I've been here over 2 years and I'm not even at 4000 yet! Ha ha, hope everyone is having a good day today!

I just got back from a Walmart run. I expected to park way out in Timbuktu and have to walk in but it was very easy parking up close. It never is on a weekend at noon. That is worrisome for the economy in general.
My day is about done already. Just have a sprinkler or two to move around. I slept in and woke with a headache. I am still trying to shake the headache. But my laundry is done and my mowing for the day. Next on my list is pinning Ted down and cutting the hair out of his eyes.

Is laundry ever really finished though? My empty hamper isn't empty any more.
I will need to take meds for my headache. I was trying to avoid that. But driving out in the bright sunshine nearly killed me.
I hope you are able to eat something, Jiffy. And then when you finish, send me a doggy bag. I seem to be always hungry. Or at least have a craving for some unknown something.

well, if i don't eat, there will be a doggy bag, but if i do, there won't lol i love jeremy and ellie, and they are both good cooks, but jeremy believes in portion control. so there is rarely seconds if they are doing the cooking lol lol not that i don't need some of that, but you know, when something is good? why sometimes just one more bite would finish the satisfaction thumbup

so, you are right about laundry not ever being quite done either. so i'm not really sweating that.

That is a bit scary about walmart not being crowded today as far as the economy goes. if I could run this country I could fix it! it's not hard. it's not rocket science here. get some of these people that are on welfare or unempoyment and send them to areas of need. down here where people are still living in shelters and out of their cars since the hurricane or out in california where there is fire damage. how bout putting some of the welfare and unempoyment people working some extended hours during the week and saturdays at the D.M.V or similar places????? anyone try to get their license renewed lately???

Ok.....cricket had her soap box moment. I'm off now!

How is everyone enjoying the last bit of weekend?
I now have all my fall seedlings transplanted or thinned out. I've watered everything this afternoon except two flower beds. and got everyone at least a pile of clean laundry done. also did supper and just gotta clean up before bed time.

We got a killing frost here a few days ago--now it is warming back up again----

the weather lady said we could take our plants back out again for a while if we wished--yea right---I don't think so. I do wish I had of been able to properly clean them up though. Just not gonna happen this year.

II did prune back my citrus 'tree' and take alcohol dipped QA-tips to it for the mealyu bugs---it is downstairs in quarentine for now--since I may not of gotten them all yet.

so what is everyone up to today???

I usually take my plants in and out at the beginning of winter and towards the end, but I'm seriously thinking about not doing that this year. I have so many plants now, and last year I almost killed some by accidentally leaving them out during one on those 'ify' nights.
I had a nice peaceful shorter than usual work day today. I sure needed that. I went to early voting this afternoon. am I a big dumb dumb? I didn't even know you could vote early unless you had an extreamly good reason and documented proof of being out of your county or something?? I highly sugguest the early voting thing. there was 20-25 people ahead of me in line, and that was at 3:30 when most people are still at work!
I like your pumpkins, belinda.
