I'm in California up in the foothills. This summer the foxes or raccoons got into our fenced veggie garden and ripped all the branches off our new little Fuji Apple tree that WAS five feet tall and doing well.
We trimmed it up as best we could, and now it has put out new branches again! It might end up being an apple BUSH, but it's better than nothing.
our weather has been so weird. Some days it's windy and the chill will cut you in half then the next it's 64 degrees and my tuplips are starting to come up.
Yes, all of my daffs are showing green tops now. It is the right time of year for them here. We might get snow her overnight. It won't stick probably but that is fun for us.

That's a good question Barb, I don't remember.....I planted all kinds of things in all different colors. I like buying the bags with mixed colors. I like a little variety.
Planted more daffs, tulips, crocuses, and something else---but I don't remember now. Can't wait for them to put on their spring show.
