Barb it sounds like you need to be on e-bay finding another pot just like that one, HUH???
Otherwise it will be a sad day when your "puppie" finally destroys his favorite "toy"........

he loves that green ball and carries it all the time. Porter is adorable Sherido you have a replacement for his green ball---you know for in case it goes missing or heaven forbid, something goes amiss with it??? yes, we do have a replacement. I saw it and have it saved in the house.

They ate all day today. Guess because everything was frozen and the seeds were easy to get.

Your first photo has Chipping Sparrows in it. Tiny bird, red cap, black and white eyeline, CLASSIC field marks of a Chipping Sparrow. Secong pic is a Northern Mockingbird. Third picture has an American Goldfinch on the right and a male House Finch on the left. The last picture is a Male House Finch.

this one too? House finch maybe? O.K. Clear this up for me, just which bird is this? I see many many of them in the spring and summer but I have never noticed them until about 6 years ago. I have tried and tried to get a picture of them but they are always to quick for my camera and I have been really wanting to know what they are.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

I've got a question,,,,,,, Do you hang your feeders High?? Or low?? Close together or far apart??? I've seen finches,, and other birds just no takers from the feeders,, expect the tube feeder I haven't seen them at the feeder But it's gone down in feed about 1/3,,

Feeders far apart. On the porch about 5 or 6 feet up is all that one is.

the platform feeder and blue feeder are right beside each other Diane. They're probably about 5 feet high.
Those chipping sparrows are fearless. They're the only ones that didn't fly away when the heard or saw me. They kept on eating.
