I see from the FAQs section that to download photos on here you need to do so from a webpage, but I don't have my own website (wouldn't know where to start!).

Is there any other way that I could put a photo on here?

Easy done... Create a profile at www.photobucket.com grin

Then once done upload some photos and then copy and paste the [IMG] code where you please grin

Agreed, photobucket is a great free resource for uploading photos; there are many many other free ones as well :)
