I know this is a gardening forum but I might get lucky grin I'm currently trying to install Open Suse 11.0 to a 20 gig virtual machine on my external hard drive using Sun xVM VirtualBox. I've got gnome installled as my desktop manager...

It didn't want to recognize that the computer has 32bit color depth, instead it only recognizes 16bit color depth, How do I change it?

Solved it grin

The solution is to go to Computer--> System --> Control center --> Graphics Card and Monitor, enter your password grin and then change your settings there

I'm used to the windows method of right clicking and going to properties --> Settings grin

Lol I was about to sugguest going into the graphics settings for the monitor, then read your second post :P...

I use VMWare on my WVista box for my Ubuntu and CentOS installs; I rather enjoy virtual machines :P

I only really use CentOS for server environments (it's a debranded Red Hat Linux Enterprise)
