I have two small huckleberry bushes (maybe 18 inches tall) living in pots near my front door. I am not sure how to protect them from the winter cold. Any thoughts? Oh, yea, I live in Denver, Co if that helps

The Vaccinus genus (huckleberry, blueberry, etc.)will tolerate moderate soil freeze. But if in pots, there is much less insulation. So you should pack mulch around the pots and plants (careful not to cover the trunks).

Then leave them to the weather.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
