I think my Postman does not like me---I have been NOT getting my Christmas cards---I think he is taking them home...

carol, your card from me isn't at your postman's house. it's in the mail box in springfield (ga that is). i'm sorry i'm so slow


i got hadeda's and i think wendy's today. i know it was hadeda's because it was obvious, and the other was from nashville. but it is in the other room, unopened because scott had it and i forgot to get it on my way through. i'll verify and let you know tomorrow.

wel yo usee Jiffy--I wonder because I mailed my cards out on the 3rd and 4th----and they did not begin to arrive until a week o r 2 later----and so I figure everyone is having that problems lately.---

and then there is the fact that I sent "someone" a gift--it went to RL sat for 3 days with them saying it had arrived there the forst day and left 2 times----and then it went back to MO and now tomorrow it will be in worden again---(MY Post master called & found out what was going on)--and that is just 1 instance.....there are 3 more......To say I am not happy with the US mail is am understatement.


Now MY postmaster is a gem--and my postal driver as well----

I was just thinking the same thing today. I have received just a few cards from our forum list. Wonder what's going on.

well I think perhpas they are so swamped mail gets put on whatever truck/plane anything just so it is gone!!!! I have had mail go straight to where it was suppposed to go and others---well lets just say things cannot get taken 3 or 4 days in a row---an example is the game I ordered for emily. The first time I checked on the tracking it said the seller had called & said the package was ready to be picked up (I know for a fact it was taken direct to the post office that day)---well it said the same thing for 4 days then magically it appeard on my doorstep---so I guess, if it is not tracked then no one is responsible for it, huh???

but luckily I have just one gift "out there" yet I ordered a serenity fountain for Emily--the first part of November---got a card saying it would be shipped along with another gift in January--well the other gift came last week---I am hoping that last one comes today-----

So I figure we will just have some post holiday cheer......

Glad to see some more of mine has arrived there :grin

I got two cards today....one from Jiffy, and one from Jessica---with three pairs of holiday socks!!!!! And one is a pair of toe socks. I love them, thanks Jess. That was a nice surprise. Athena laughed and laughed at them.

Glad you finally got it!! That took a while to get to you. I was really hoping you would have them before Christmas. Well now you will have them for next year anyways.

We have it all figured out(me and Athena).......Snowman ones for Christmas Eve, Santa ones for Christmas Day, and the 3rd pair for Christmas Eve eve.

I love them. I didn't have any at all and I adore holiday stuff. :ding:

Now Athena will have to get some holiday socks so the two of you can have it all figured out together.

I received a Christmas card from Jiffy a couple days ago. Totally forgot to post here or tell her in person how nice it was to get. "Specially as I didn't put my name on the list or send a single one out. Thank you.

I am sorry I haven't posted thanks to everyone but thanks to you all.
I got cards from:
Mark, Jessica,Sheri, Carol, TK, Loz, Diane, Faerywatcher, and got one today from Jiffy.... you all know I save my cards- have 40 years of Christmas cards put away with my Christmas stuff... love looking at them every yr- remembering loved ones that are no longer with us and friends I have lost touch with over the yrs.... Thanks to all of you and for the ones to come still.

I got a card from Hadeda today. It was laying in the yard toward the road. Johnny found it. It has tire tracks all over it. I'm not sure how long it's been there or where it got run over.

Better late than never.

I bought some fun cards for next year. I wish it were Christmas again so I could mail them out. I get to do something to them that makes them fun for me.
