you guys crack me up! I haven't been on all day and normally don't go back and read THAT far back, but the conversations were pretty amusing!
I have had a 'do nothing' day today. my cousin came over with her kids and we all had a great time visiting. no drama, no injuries, no yelling. when they left I told her how refreshing to have company that we SO enjoy. (referring to how much of the b.i.l. with his urchins that we have to deal with)
me and hubby then made a fire outside the kids are back and forth between here and the neighbors kids house. all is well. what a great way to start the new year. I'm 'crochetting' a bit this afternoon/evening before one work day tomorrow then the weekend! yea!

Hi everyone I know it's been awhile since I was here. I've been sick. I've got an infection the doctors can not get rid of. Actually started with an ear infection and has moved to one kind of infection after another for going on 4 months now. It's keeping me run down and tired feeling. So I don't feel like doing much of anything other than sleeping. I'm ready for spring to get here I think that would make me feel better. (sure couldn't hurt)
thanks to everyone who's been worrying about me and thanks for the beautiful christmas cards I got.
We spent Christmas in the smokey moutains and I didn't cook a christmas dinner, just didn't feel like it. This is the frist time I can ever remember that I didn't cook a big dinner on a holiday.
I have started a new medication and I hope that it will help. I do feel better today, but I have been having days where I feel better.

Good morning. I have been up quite a while but got busy taking care of some neglected stuff. Suzy, I am sorry you have been going through so much. That traveling crud is the pits. I hope the new meds kick A for you. Carol, are you feeling any better? Hi, Cindy.

for once the traveling was a regular vacation, we sit and planned it all, or called ourselves planning, hubby always tries to plan a round or 2 of putt putt golf for Ashley, he thought he was getting indoor golf and we ended up with out door golf at 18 degrees.

When I said 'traveling crud' I meant your infection moving from one spot to another. Your vacation sounds like fun except the temps. I would have skipped the putt-putt.

Belinda - sorry to hear you haven't been well. Could you possibly have Mono, or Epstein Barr? My daughter's mono started with ear infections and strept throats. She then tested very high for mono, and surprisingly at the same time I apparently had Epstein Barr. The latter virus is what causes Mono, though I got it from her actually.
I am back. Took Jonni to Walmart so she could use up her gift cards. I got a couple of necessities as well. Then to a party store. I am on the hunt for party items for a friend. Then we went to eat and Jonni had a Dr's appointment. Got food for the guys and am home for the night. I hope. Got some laundry going.

I picked up Darbi today and we each took a book and went to a local coffee house. It's named La Vida Mocha. Darbi always gets a vanilla bean frappucinno and I get a raspberry smoothie with lots of whipped cream. We sat and talked, didn't read, for 2 hours. We then went to Pizza Hut. It was a great day. Have I mentioned I LOVE not going to work? Darbi goes back to school Monday.
