Good morning. I would have liked to have slept a little longer but my bladder said otherwise. I am having my first cup but the second is soon to follow.

I usually don't leave for work till around 8:30, but hubby gets up at 4:45 and I wake up. Then I get my son to the bus stop at 6, and my daughter to the bus stop at 7:30. UGH! some days I'd really like to sleep in a bit.

I get my daughter to her bus at 6:30 and then leave to take my son all the way to school at 7. I don't mind so much. I went to bed early last night so I am good to go.
After I drop my son off, I am going to work today. Which means I need to go load equipment into my car. That is always fun.

I sent that recipe to all my sisters, daughters and mother. It sounds so good.

My husband says I'm addicted to the internet. Guess it could be worse like being addicted to Beam. I can go without the TV or phone for days but let the internet go out for a second and I'm a wild woman.

Yes, I would say internet is one of my addictions. I am back from work. I will be going out for gas, banking and picking up my son in a little bit.

I'm just home from dialysis. Our storm is so bad,they cut everyone's daytime treatment by 30 minutes & rescheduled the evening patients for tomorrow. My driver had a heck of a time getting me back to the beach... everyone was just creeping along the turnpike; you simply had to! Then my guy was not pleased to see my neighbor had blocked BOTH of the paths to my stairs with his giant truck. So the driver borrowed my shovel & did some digging. Even so, we had a bit of a time getting the wheelchair through the snow far enough so I could walk the rest of the way. My wheels were completely packed with snow when I got in. I keep an old towel by the door for that reason because as soon as I come in my wheels are shedding it all and oh man can I make a big wet mess!

So now I have some soup on the stove & I have no plans.

Merme, you used your crutches in the snow?

No Sheri, I don't use crutches. When I am strong enough to be up & walking, I am walking. Of course, I always try to avoid walking on the snow but there are times when it just isn't possible, so I go cautiously!! Snow is far better than ice, though, but I do own Super Grip Soled Boots! (Found them on clearance at Target one year & they are awesome!!)

I would go NUTS without the internet.....I'm am so addicted. My laptop is on all day long. My husband calls it my life. I said, hey---it's no different from you watching TV all day long---this is my version of TV.

Merme, that recipe sounds really good, I might even try it out. Maybe on Valentines day. I got a nice big, deep roaster pan for Christmas. I mostly use it for nice, deep lasagna though. I would've been scared to death to travel out on the roads in that weather. I'm glad your driver cleared somewhat of a path for you and your chair.

I'm wondering if there will be school tomorrow.

Well, I went to the dentist the other day---I've had a toothache since before Christmas. Turns out I need to go to the oral surgeon. I have a broken wisdom tooth in the back, broke to the gum almost. It needs cut out, and then I have another back broken tooth on the other side that needs cut out. And then my back, bottom, right molar needs pulled too. My teeth are just so weak. My dentist told me years ago that I just have weak teeth that are prone to decay. Yay me. I have a HUGE dentist phobia, so my dentist suggested I get sedated for the removal. Fun, fun, fun. I go for my consultation at the surgeons on the 2nd of Feb. Then back to my regular dentist after that is healed up to get the normal cavity fillings done. The toothache is now into my jaw and up into my ear. Started some Amoxicillin a few days ago to stop it from abscessing.....

Had some breakfast at moms today, then went for coffee and chocolate cake this afternoon. She spoils us. :ding:

It's SOOOOOOO windy here right now. The dog is scared to death of the noise of it all.

Well heading off for a bit to do some laundry.

I'm going to go polish up a new CH for us.... be right back!
