Oh wow Diane! The hyacinth I sent is looking pretty!! I hope mine comes up. The I have opening is a deep purple one.

VERY pretty Diane - even though I cannot be around the smell of lavendar - gives me a fierce headache. But the flowers are very pretty indeed.

dodge, I didn't know until yesterday that Johnny has stopped buying plumbing supplies at the Lowe's in Monroe because it's more expensive than the other one he goes to in Charlotte. I'm beginning to think they realize that they're the only place in town to shop and they're taking advantage of it.

Johnny must be a clever man......

That kills one to find it out tho.

Our walmart is cheaper than Lowes if they have the same stuff.
Home Depot is right across from Lowes and they have a price war also.

Why they built there is beyond me.

We don't have a Home Depot and I think Lowe's knows it.

Well we had Lowes first......

H.D. built there couple years later, and no one wanted to go to it.
Now it seems to be sinking.......

Too many of the same stores in the area.

I sort of sit in the center of shopping malls and stores.. 2 mile away is closest store, 4 mile mall up north 11 mile to mall south......I do the south one most............It is nicer.

This one hasn't opened all the way yet( I always get excited when clematis bloom)
