Wine gives me headaches and hangovers. I have had friends that swore by red wine for colds or flu.
Beer gives me an instant headache. Before I finish one, I need an aspirin.
I can drink mixed drinks, SoCo and 7 is a favorite. I had one a couple of years ago. I'm not much of a drinker. I did have some Bailey's in my coffee a couple of months ago.
I had a root beer float last week.

I am really thinking of taking a nap. An actual go-to-bed-get-under-the-covers nap. It feels kinda scandalous to do that in the middle of the day. Truly self-indulgent!

But my laundry is done, my house is clean, the phone is quiet.

Tomorrow is going to be so busy!

Dialysis and then evening church because it is Ash Wednesday. I am going to meet up with Maxi.

So, I should probably rest while I can. Right?

Now how's that for a Justification?

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Take a rest Merme....I would if I could. lol

They say a glass of red wine a day is good for your heart. I am not a wine drinker. It doesn't taste good to me and gives me a headache and my cheeks get hot. I would rather drink a beer if I am going to have something like that. I don't drink mixed drinks often either.

Sheri...the type of wine should tell you if it is red or not. I am not up on my wine types but I know that merlot is red and riesling and zinfandel are white or blush.

the only thing I know about wine is when my good buddy drinks it, I avoid her. wine makes her whine! lol I stick with beer and every once in a blue moon I like some hard liquor. a chug right out of the bottle from the freezer to the gullet. thumbup ha ha. (I'm told I get that from my mamma's side of the family) badday
How is everyone? I have not been on in a couple of days, and haven't read back much.
we got the garden tilled and rowed. this weekend we'll put up the fence. my little doggies are SO good about not getting in there. if it wasn't for the deer and rabbit we wouldn't even have to bother with the fence.

We don't have Kroger anymore. We used too and I loved shopping there but they all closed around here.

Try a Merlot, Pinot Noir, or for absolutely exquisite flavor, try Taylor's Lake Country White, or a Good German Liebfraumilch.

Actually my rabbits don't care much for carrots at all. They would MUCH rather have willow Branches, Apples, or chocolate. Yes, willow branches are recommended as being GOOD for rabbits, and since I have a large willow tree that constantly needs pruning, then......

hello everyone-----

I Love a good zinfandel. The white my DH always buys for me when we are out is actually a blush. It is yummy (and I do not drink dry or really sweet wines)

Thorny, a Good German Liebfraumilc is surely yummy as well, but in my opinion it is an aquired taste.

Sheri, yes taste around--you will find one that agrees with you I am sure.--at least enough for a few glasses a week.

thorny, I am going to buy myself a bottle of the Pinot Noir, and give it a try. thumbup
