I live, breathe and eat plants. I've become so addicted to them that I don't even mind a little potting soil in my food if it allows me to grow more in the kitchen. I've joined a lot of plant groups at yahoo but it wasn't enough to keep me talking gardening all day in the winter. I'm a begoniac first, but then there's not much else I don't like too. I live in Caseyville, the northern limits of zone 6. It's just east of St. Louis, Mo. Anita

Welcome, hortus. You will find plenty to talk about here. We are a friendly group. We chat about our daily lives in the current Coffee House in Banter hall. A little more about cooking or hobbies. The rest is all gardening all the time. You can have some fun here and we all learn from each other.

Why, c'mon on in,hortus! Great to meet a fellow plantaholic. My subdivision backyard is a lifetime Work In Progress.
This year I'll be doing more irises and ferns. And primulas. And another peony. And another....
