Hi James,

I do digital scrap booking and alot of my makers use 4shared to distribute the freebies that they make. They are reputable and would not put viruses into their downloads. I know that 4shared looks at things that are downloaded through their site for viruses also. However, lately alot of makers have stopped using 4shared because of viruses being transmitted. Can you tell me about this because there are still a good number of makers using 4shared and I need to know if I need to be concerned about this..... I NEED these downloads!!

A way how to protect your self is to upload the files you just downloaded to http://www.virustotal.com/ and let their multiple virus scanners check it out grin

A quick scan through Avast should be well sufficient
