Just an up date on DIGOXIN........I POSTED THIS BEFORE.

MY SISTER DIED APRIL 1, THE DIGOXIN POISON DID HER IN.. JIFFYMOUSE WAS CORRECT, SHE WAS NEVER THE SAME.

A very wrongful death.....I read on the computer it was Recalled in APRIL 2008. The kept her on it . It had a double dose in every tablet.. they didnt tell her that.
THey were using it for a blood thinner......

Hospital called me at 10:40 her pulse was dropping and she was having trouble breathing. Another call 10 minutes later, she was Gone.

Dont take this medicine......

The hospital told us that right away as soon as he almost died in November.
digoxin poisoning.

That is about the 3rd time she almost died since..
the day she died she was talking an laughing like crazy.. We thought she was headed home again...

One day this past week she said I want to walk and stood up.. She never did that since november..

I think maybe the saying , A person gets better before they get worse?????????

10 minutes after they called me, she was gone.

Sorry to hear about your sister Dodge, my prayer and deepest sympathies.

Is there a way to report the incident to some council? I know in Canada there is a College of Physicians that deals with misdiagnosis, giving bad meds, and such and it governs all physicians and doctors.

Also, please note that this drug is extracted from Digitalis (Foxglove) hence its name. eating and chewing the plant can also be deadly so those of you with kiddies or pets running around, please think twice before planting foxglove.

Well the american way, is called Sue.....they sue the companys or doctors.

It has been reported, I found it on line American Medical Association, had it on line last April..You can look it up if you type that word in.

I call it a senseless death......
I arent the suing type of person.. I think god takes care of the folks who do it.
But I maybe un advised..
My family all go to the same doc an I doubt if they would even mention the word to him.
Too much untruth to everything.

I'm very sorry to read about the loss of your sister. I'm sure this has been one of the hardest things yoou've ever had to go through.

It is our worst fears.
Unthinkable that hd brother we just buried in beginning of Feburary, bachlor and penniless.. Hd paid the bill...And were still not done with the estate which belonged to the grandfather.
We have all 4 wheels turning , but it still seems to be spinning for us.

Well she is in peace now, no pain..
Funeral is monday cause of outof town guests..

It was a total shock to us, We all looked up to her, cause she was the oldest one left.
She moved back from Ohio 6 years ago after he hubbys death, and we cherished the moments with her .

I am pretty nervous the funeral starts 2 maro.

All your saying is true.
However I aren't in charge..But lawsuits have never been an item with me.

Thanks ,I hate this so bad.

Glad the weather got cold again.. I have to be inside 2maro and monday, is depressing too....Being out in the flower beds makes me heal.

I also have fear of family wars.....She was a widow. No kids.
we dont know , but her husbands side from Ohio is coming which makes me sort of mad cause they were in town for their brothers funeral in November, Right down the street and none stopped to see her.

She had me /hubby go out an get Kentucky chicken dinners and no one showed up .
God I felt so sad for her .. It has gone down hill ever since for her.

Sorry I just feel awful right now.

I went to mass tonite and got Palms ..
Prayed very hard for sis.

ONe thing I realize for sure. She would of never gotten well enough to go back to her own house alone......That had me worried also.
2 more days and it will be done ..
Just very scared right now.

I arent a public person.

I am just wearing black slacks .......It is the proper gear mostly in our neck of the woods....
I do black only top bottom jacket an shoes..
