Good Morning!! I just wanted to open a new Webkinz--& also ask a question.
Today as I was doing my dalies, I found that every time I tried to go to the curio shop I was told I would be "logged out now". I was curious if anyone else had this problem???

Me too!! And Friday and Saturday every time I tried to go there it kept telling me "Sorry, you have already mined for the day". And I hadn't mined at all! I think that Arte has been breathing in to much mining dust or either he's hitting the bottle a little to hard.

My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

I had the same problem on all accounts, Carol. As did almost everyone else. Another Ganz problem. I can wait it out though

You did a great job, Carol. Both the job and the screen shot. (I had such a hard time learning how to do that). Hmmm, You need a magic carpet in that room. I think.

Hmmm, You need a magic carpet in that room. I think. First I have to ask----what is a "Magic carpet"??? Thanks for the compliment, Tina- --I went back & tried to cut out just the piece of the screen I wanted BUT my paint only shows part of the webkinz screen at a time so it is impossible to cut (for me right now anyway) if I ever learn how I will show you the other parts of my house---and if not perhaps I will show you Maisy's room and the back yard anyway.

Check your mail, Carol. A magic carpet is another ride on. Not quite the right blue for the wizard theme, but I keep one in my magic room anyway. I see you did check your mail. You are welcome, Carol.

So, have you all seen the new Webkinz Deluxe membership yet? I think they are getting a little too out of hand with the "extras" to buy. We've spent around $1000 on Webkinz plush and misc items over the past few years on over 80 pets, numerous charms, trading cards, binders and figurines. It's a "pay" site as it is since you have to buy a pet to access it. Having to pay for access to different areas of a site that I already had to pay to get on is getting a bit frustrating. I realize that Webkinz is a business and the idea is to make money. But at the same time I'm getting the feeling from Ganz that our patronage isn't valued unless we continue to throw obscene amounts of money at them. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a "deluxe activities" tab that Brennan has to look at but can't do everytime he plays. I would have been much less upset about it if it were a different site like the e store that wasn't thrown in our face everytime we log on. And I wonder if the regular Webkinz users service will suffer now. With so many glitches I'm sure their first priority will be maintaining their deluxe accounts. Ganz is going to start alienating their new customers when they buy a pet, access the site and then find out how much stuff they would need to buy or pay extra for to access. Not to mention their loyal customers who are starting to get fed up.
You all know I'm not normally a Webkinz basher, but I feel they're getting a little too greedy.

I hadn't a clue when I read this this morning. Had to go hunting for more info. They are not 'giving' enough for their deluxe membership. To make it appealing to me at all.

OK. I realize now that I went off on a bit of a tangent. So sorry. I still love our Webbies, don't get me wrong. I'm just a bit frustrated in the direction the site seems to be going now. It's going away from the simple fun that made us all love it so much. I guess I'm being a bit short minded. I'm sure there are those that absolutely love the new features and don't mind to pay for it. I know I'm never going to hear the end of, "Mommy, I want the deluxe activities." I would be more inclined to do it if it was good for the life of your Webkinz account instead of a year.

the way i understand it, the deluxe activities button is not visible unless you subscribe. i hope this is the case, [[[[the majical forest activities lockout icons were problematic for the grandkids, but not nearly as pricey a fix as the new deluxe problem.]]]]

Fifty bucks will pay for the deluxe for a year, Cindy. For 5 accounts. Put your money where your dare is.

Well, i wanted to reply to this thread yesterday and to tell honeybun Thanks a Lot!!! But while I was writing the weather took a turn for the worse and I had to shut down and unplug everything. I think that I messed up this past week end. I saw the picture that JunnieGirl put up of her magic room and decided that I wanted to go that route. Well, I didn't realize what I was getting in to and in the end I am almost broke now and haven't finished. I still need 2 enchanted rugs, 2 Daedalus Dinning Chairs, an antique Ice Box but what I really want is a stone fireplace and I don't know how to get one. I guess that doesn't matter though because I will be all month trying to earn enough ( I am not to eppt at winning much on the games and my Quizzies are almost all used up.) just to get the things with in my abilities to buy. Anyway, then last night I didn't get on here to thank the HunBun because I was watching the end of E.R.. I am not one who cries over movies and such but last night my eyes did water watching E.R.. I guess after watching it every week for 15 years you kind of build a special fondness of the show and characters and it was sort of like losing an old friend so I was a bit saddened. But I did like the way they brought back in some of the old characters and to see Dr. Greens daughter on there as a potential Med. Student. I liked that they ended it with a mass emergency and Dr. Carter jumping back in there but I was disappointed that they didn't leave with him and his wife getting things back on course with one another. Oh well, E.R. doesn't really belong in this thread i was just getting off course as to why I didn't get to thank Honeybun last night.
My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

The different fireplaces are pet specific items that come with the adoption of pets. I sent you one that comes with one of the horses, a clydesdale I think. I also sent the other items you requested and a coin to turn in to boost your account, Memosa. Have fun!

Well, once again they aren't letting us in to mine at Ates' or spin the Wheel of Wow. Keep getting the message " Sorry you have already ( spun or mined depending which you are trying to do) for today, try again tomorrow". So Webkin Squirrel and I decided to go and do some photo shots. This one is for You Angelblossom and all other Fairy and gnome lovers. This is Webby Squirrel dressed as a Fairy.

Very cute, Memosa. I'm thinking that your squirrel needs a boy squirrel to be friends with.

I also looked in the outdoor section for them first but didn't find them. So went on a more extensive hunt. All of the rugs and tiles also went into the decorations section.
