The air is cool and sweet here tonight; it is very pleasant.

ok, I'm gone for a couple of days and you people are burning popcorn and getting scratched up!
I just popped in to say goodnight???
that hand looks a bit like my hubbys arm does right now. he thought he'd break up a fight between our girls (two labordors). they don't have a mark on them, but his arms look twice as bad as your hand.
I'll make it a point to pop back in, in the morning and find out what the heck you did!

Good morning everybody!
What a BEE-U-TI-FUL day today is!!! YAY!
I slept okay last night, finally, and got up feeling preety darn good this morning. Can't eat, though. But still. It is a good day.
Shirls that hand looks PAINFUL!
Afgrey ~ Maxi burned a bag of popcorn in the microwave last week. Man does that stink. It also left a permanent discoloration inside the microwave. I think we are going back to our other ways of making popcorn.

It is a lovely day here too. But going to be a very busy one. I'm getting ready to take John in for a CT Scan in a few. This afternoon I take Jonni in to get her sutures removed from her oral surgery last week. And then she has a job interview at a quarter to 9 tonight. That is a very long day. I can't wait until she gets her license. I may not see her again after until she needs directions, but......

I've had a busy morning, sorting through boxes of papers my girls have stashed over time.

Guess what I found?
An UNOPENED letter from 2007 with $50 cash inside!
I never knew my friends had written me or that they'd sent that gift!
So I'm calling them to say thanks and explain why they didn't hear from me earlier!

We are going through everything we can in preparation for our move this summer, getting rid of junk. My attendants tend to stack things or put them in boxes where I can't reach. So, my new girl has been pulling out boxes for me to go through. And that's where it was!

I'm sorry to hear that, Shirley! The Dumps are not a good place to have to inhabit!  My phone has been ringing off the hook today! Everybody wants me!  We are getting Maxi set up for camp this summer. We are getting him enrolled at a cool program at the Cathedral called "Journey Into Adulthood". I am getting his bike fixed. PHEW! Merme

I had a long day of back to back appointments. I was able to duck in between a couple of them. But it was a very long day.

Morning,
I also have a wet weekend here... so far it's just really cloudy but can feel it coming... sure is greening up nicely though.\
Been a busy morning already...Carrie took Joseph to school. I fed the little boys and took 2 of them to school... somewhere in there I got Mom fed too...now I need to go to the other computer and pay some bills ... will go pick up Derek in a couple hours...
Timothy decided he wants and ARMY birthday next week... Jon made some cute invitations for him too ... he is passing them out today... sure hope weather is good for his party.
Well off to finish up my bills and stuff...

Good morning! The weather here is actually supposed to be pretty nice today. Sunny and 70. Not quite as warm as I would like but I'm not complaining, it's supposed to rain all weekend. I got the  on, the laundry is going, I'm working on making my grocer list. Then it's off to the stores and then kids today! Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

We are going to make Ice Cube candles... you put the wick in a quart carton (from milk or cream that's been washed out) and fill the carton w/ ice cubes. You pour in the melted wax. The wax melts the ice and the ice hardens the wax. When the wax is set, you pour out the water and peel off the carton and you have an attractive candle with holes in it all over the place.

Today I went on a field trip to Raleigh with Darbi's 4th grade class. We left at 7 and got home at 9. It's a 3 hour ride and boy have times changed. We went on an air conditioned charted bus with TVs. When I was in school we went to Raleigh on the athletic bus. I'm exhausted.

Hi Cricket and Sheri~ It's been a long week for me and I am wiped out, so I can't stay and visit. I am going to stretch out on the couch while Maxi plays on the computer for a bit nearby. We're just talking... neither one of us has enough energy to do anything astonishing! He had a great time at the dance and brought home glow loops. what did yall do in Raleigh?
We visited museums and the legislative building and capitol building. It was fun and the weather was great. Darbi's school is a lottery charter school which means parents have to be intersted enough in their child to try to get them accepted then they have to volunteer 75 hours a year. The students are so well behaved, compaired to where I work, and the trip was scheduled almost to the minute. It was a nice experience. No child was out of order at any moment.
