Is there a difference in a wisteria tree or bush? I am looking for something to cover a pergola. I received 2 wisteria trees for mother's day....will it work?

wisterias are naturally vines but they may be trained into becoming a small tree (a standard) or kept pruned back as a shrub. If you let the wisteria grow, it should eventually start climbing your pergola.
