OK....is my cursor suppose to catch that 'bird seed...' running over there in the side bar??  .....you know I'm slow  Please don't tell me that it has been moving all this time!!!!

awesome pictures today!,, Bill you have very colorful Birds there,, This must be the perfect time of year to see so many different ones at once I can only imagine new ones will arrive thru spring and again thru summer. All those birds really did a number on all that bird seed today!!! It was so heaped up and full, now it's getting close to empty!! Rocky and Bandit will clean up any leftovers tonight... There were also a lot of birds eating at the other feeding stations and feeders today. We probably went through 2-3 pounds of Thistle seed, 15 pounds of regular bird seed and 3 pints of Hummingbird nectar today. It was a good day to just sit and enjoy Mother Nature!

Yes it has been a great day!!!! That was a LOT of food!!! If that happened every day of the year you'd have to be a millionare to feed all them critters!!!

Lay out there somewhere in a hammock!! With a drink!! There's a secret hideaway place right beside the Critter Garden that would be a nice spot for a hammock! ... if you don't trip and fall on the way there! ( No... the path still isn't done...)

A lot of them were deleted...like the tree episodes...but Bill sent me one of the skunk topics the other day. It made me SMILE! OMG! I had ALL that stuff saved, but a lot of it was the 'link to...' so they aren't viable anymore! It was after that when I realized I needed to start doing copy/paste, which I did after that. When I get time I will go through all that stuff, and see what I have. I could then put it onto a CD. That's what I did with Dianes Willy Village stories. I'm taking that to her.

The Raccoons did some major damage to the Critter Garden last night...  They broke several large gnomes, damaged a couple Daylilies, destroyed 2 feeders and stole another, bent a double Shepard's crook to the ground, seriously damaged the Squirrel feeder and toppled one of the "tree" logs. It looks like a war zone out there this morning.... I'll post pix later...

Holy Cow!!!! Are you sure it was racoons?? They don't seem big enough to cause that much damage!!! Were they mad at you for something???

All my windows are open and all the birds outside in the trees are singing for joy!!!! It's so beautiful!!!
Each one trys to out-do the other one. I wish I knew what kind of bird each song is!!
I also wish I could take pictures but I can't even see them, hidden in the trees. But they sound like they are right here in my apartment! I love it!!

They topple all the corn field when the sweet corn is ready.. It is very sad.
Eat every ear.
Best we can do is keep our dog tied close to the areas.
Some use electric fence..

Ya know Bill... when I saw your shepherd's hook bent down on the ground like that, it reminded me of my birdfeeder pole that looked like that twice this year so far, and that was bent by a black bear! A neighbor saw him in her yard just this past Saturday, so that makes 3 times in recent weeks here. Please be careful and make lots of noise when you go out - especially at night! And don't POKE the bear!!!

GrandPoo Bah said You want him to send rose Quarts,, She'll work her magic on that bear!  as I was reading this I thought BEAR!,, It looked too intensive for racoons,, ,,, Was Shadow asleep when this happened?? I can only imagine how he how much he would bark if he had heard all this happening,,  So Sorry,, you've worked so hard it was looking great,, But,, You will make it all better again,, cause that's what Mighty gnomes Do I just hope the Bear doesn't come back a second time,,,  If he does come back he'd better watch out for The great gnome of Cedar Hill,, He'll be waiting for that bear to show up,
