if you would like to participate, please read the rules, then sent me a pm with Garden Swap for the subject line, and your address (if I don’t already have it) along with your email address. Phone numbers are nice, but not required. Also the words "i agree to follow the rules" in the body. I will be sharing the list with one other person once it is put together, most likely Triss. I also will not be "participating" this time.

here are the rules:

1 - all members must be signed up by april 10 (date specified)
2 – post your answers to the questionnaire in the next post.
3 - names will go out by pm on or before April 15
4 - all prized must be mailed out by may 1 (date specified) failure to do so will make you ineligible to participate in future gift swaps and could result in other penalties
5 - in the event of disaster striking you before you can mail out your box, notifying me as soon as possible will preserve your ability to play in the future. don't laugh, it could happen. we had 2 in the last swap. please include the reason, even if it is just "i got snowed under and couldn't do it"
6 - gifts should be mailed with a tracking number when possible (even the post office offers that for only about 50 cents more) BUT...
7 - if you order your gift to be "direct shipped" please pm me when the order is placed, with the company name so i can post "so-and-so's gift has been ordered direct ship".
8 - finally - just like last time, that there is no specific amount, but please be mindful of other's budgets, and please make sure that you would be happy if you got what you sent out. if in doubt, $10-$30 VALUE is always a safe bet. and value is much more important than cost.
9 - post that you received your gift as soon as you get it, but at least within 3 days. pictures are great if you can!
10 - the administration of this board reserves the right to amend the rules as necessary.

My step daughters like to do knitting. They love all crafts from others as well.

I have 2 ball pythons and they don't eat treats, only mice.

Very zen and nature-y. Lots of plants and water fountains. All my house plants are folliage only to help with my allergies.

7. Do you have a theme in your garden?(i.e.:fairies, signs, butterflies) I love ANY garden decor. I have butterflies, fairies, signs, Willies, spinners, windsocks, stakes...I love all that stuff! Oh and solar stuff is totally my favorite....if it lights up I'm happy! There are a few mini flags I don't have--patriotic, halloween, thanksgiving, easter. And I have a big flag pole I switch flags on a lot. I also love anything that's seasonal--like I have a shovel and a mailbox outside that take different seasonal decorations on them. Oh and I love bamboo windchimes, they are my favorite!

9. Do you enjoy receiving new recipes? Ha ha ha, I'm not much of a cook so not really.

10. What is your favorite cookie or candy? I LOVE aero bars, and milk chocolote of all kinds.....just wouldn't want it melting, it'll probably be pretty hot by then.

12. What kinds of hobbies do you enjoy? I enjoy painting ceramics for the garden....wooden things, concrete things. I love to read, but I have a TON of gardening books. Gardening of course...lol I could really use a new kneeling pad and garden gloves. I love Jeff Gordon and Nascar. I love my pond and goldfish and I could always use some fish food pellets for them.

15. What is the decor in your home like? {{style}} Wow, very informal and laid back and full of knick knacks and stuff. Not really country, but I'm not a minimalist....I like baskets, and cute gardening figurines and stuff.

16. Colors in the rooms (main rooms like kitchen, potty room, living room &dining room)? Living room is burgundy and hunter green, kitchen is very neutral with lots of fake greenery in it--no theme to it really. Bathroom is burgundy--no theme in there.

(i.e. angels, bears, owls..things like that) Oh yeh, like I said before I love knick knacks but I don't have a lot of room for a lot more things....I like things with a little more presence---I love baskets! Living room is fairly neutral cream and burgundy. Bathroom is done in dolphins/sea scape blue/white. Dining room is green and cream.

House is only about 500 sq. ft - so there isn't much of anything

On the topic of pets: my cat is quite picky and won't eat anything other than his cat food. No treats, no fresh meat, or mice, nothing other than Purina Adult Cat Food. The only problem we have is that this cat will get on the table, just to knock over our glass of water and lick it up. Leaves the food totally alone. Weirdo.

Also, just thought I should point out, I'm not a big "willy" fan. They seem to be fairly popular among you guys here though! I do like dragonflies and butterflies, if that makes up for it any.

I'm so excited. I can't wait to see who and get and then go shopping!

and you know, i had a cat taht would only drink ice water if i was home. i'm sure he drank plain water when i was away, but if i was home, he wanted a glass glass of ICE water. goofy cat!

I guess I should have put that I have a Cockatiel. She is very neurotic and freaks out if I get her new things to put in the cage that aren't the same color as what was in there before. When I got her from a friend, she had a yellow scratching perch and when it wore out, I went to get her a new one, and I could only find a pink one. She wouldn't go over to that side of the cage for 2 days!! She does love to eat though and goes crazy over those seed sticks that hang from the top of the cage. I have 2 cats, one will eat anything(Mllie) and the other one(Suzie) will only eat cat food. I have two dogs, a border collie(Princess) and a German shepard mix(Rok), both rescued, and they love treats and toys.

I do have a menagerie and I was actually on the Animal Rescue League site for Iowa looking at another dog. I think there is somthing seriously wrong with me!!

Knick-Knacks:fenton glass tea cup collection civil war antiques I also collect eggs glass wood ceramic it's a Russian tradition.I also hollow out my own eggs for easter and christmas.
