[color:#996633] [font:Century Gothic] [size:11pt]Butterscotch is still with us, living in that small room all by himself. Well, that is... when one of us humans isn't in there visiting with him. We try to go in as often as we can luv, but he whines and talks to us all the time while we are in the kitchen. nooo

Had to take him to the vet today, as he was clicking loudly on the floor with his right front paw - good thing we did - he had a badly ingrown toenail nervous. The vet cut it all out, and put some antibiotic ointment on it, with a gauze bandage on top.

The MINUTE we left him alone in his room upon returning, he had ripped it off! tapfoot Faster than one could blink! rolz Called the vet because it was bleeding, and she said it would be ok - just to keep an eye on it, and give him the antibiotic drops as prescribed. He gets amoxicillan - just like people - only thing is... both my son and I are allergic to it! No problem giving it to him though. thumbup

Yep - poor sweet Butterscotch! By the way... he weighs 14.1 lbs., so fortunately being FIV+ hasn't affected him just yet thankfully! The vet even remarked several times what a sweetheart he is - never fought her at all while she was cutting away at his nail!
