This one is a bit wicked looking nervous maybe it's a wasp?? I'm not sure what it is. I took this picture at work, after seeing it fly around , it finally landed and it's wings are shorter than most dragonflys I've seen.

I've seen a very firey red one at work as well but it hasn't landed long enough for me to get a good picture,, it is really beautiful. I've also seen an awesome blue one there too,, still trying to get a good pic of it!

these next two pic's are the same dragon fly way high up in a tree sorry the pictures are nice and clear I waited a long time for it fly down and land lower but it insisted on staying high up.

diane, they look dragon flies to me, but i'm not an expert. if they were here, that is what i'd be calling them. i know dragon flies come in lots of shapes, sizes, and colors.

that's not what I call a dragon fly. That first picture looks ferocious . I don't know what it is though.

I've looked up wasps, dragon flys, flying insects with clear wings I can't find what it is,, why
The other one is a dragon fly I found it on line, It belongs to a family of Df's I can't even begin to pronounce.
