Hi I am a keen amateur veggie gardener and seasonal cook from Shropshire in England, near the Welsh borders.
I own a children's gardening and cooking project and wanted to join here so I could pick up more knowledge both for myself and to pass on to others, and also to find out what people are keen to know, to give me ideas for my project.
There's some brilliant stuff on here!

Howdy Joanne! I'm Thornius in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A., that's in the Southeastern U.S. I am not much of a gardener but I DO know my birds, ESPECIALLY in the U.S. and the U.K. My son-in-law is from Scotland, and one of my best friends is an English Astronomer living in Wales. I have TWO English bird field guides so if you have any questions about birds in your yard, let me know. Welcome to the forum!!!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
