Tina, I think we're expecting even more rain. Wish you could get a few drops. It was too hot her yesterday, then it rained last night and today has been bearable.

School supplies are expensive and I'll bet schools are going to start requiring more with the budget cuts.

I just ate 2, count them 2, tuna fish sandwiches. Why did I eat 2 when I was full after 1? Now I'm miserable and want to go to sleep. What makes a person do something so dumb?

I dashed off earlier to get my dishes done and went out to get my shopping done before I picked my son up from school. It is triple digits out there again.
I got Ted all snug in the car and got a little under a block away from the school and someone ran a red light and bashed into the rear right side of my van. The rear door and the rear quarter panel are munched. No injuries to people. We exchanged info but I wish now that I had gotten the names of the witnesses around. And there were quite a few. But Ted was in the car and it was very, very hot. The roads were very busy with lunch time traffic.
I went to my mechanic a couple miles away to see if it was drivable for the rest of my trip home (14 miles). He said it was so I am home. I called about all of the business with all of the info I had gotten. We will see what becomes of all of that.
So I can catch up here in the CH before I lay me down for a nap. It is nice to see it so busy and have so much to read when I come in.
Thank you, Merme. I do feel I got a lot done this morning. I do wish the weather was more cooperative so I could get even more done. I do not know who was rude to you. I just don't see it in the open forum.
Sheri, I would very much like if you could send a little rain this way. But not too much. I am a picky beggar, aren't I?

Well got the upstairs cleaned up, chicken is cooking... so dinner is almost done... need to bring vacuum down and do this level now... but here I sit for another moment or 2 , its' only 75* but feel really sticky.. they said we may have another storm tonit... no fun..
Carrie took Nicoli in for his preschool checkup ..he got 4 shots so is not a happy camper today.. Derek is still not right and he wants to see him again Monday... I wish they would just okay going to Childrens and having him seen there since this one doesn't have a clue now as to why he doesn't feel well.

Yes the pics are just like it was up there.. so really nice to be in that are even for just a couple days.. we have beautiful views here too but being away is so calming for me.
Merme I think that driver should be responsible for fixing your chair...his impatience broke it .. that should be addressed by his company.

I always bring Teddy a cold coke for the ride home from school. Even in winter. He did drop his coke at the time of the accident but hurriedly picked it back up again and looked at me like "Am I in trouble for spilling?" No and he went straight to finish drinking it. So he is good and still is 2 1/2 hours later. I don't think he realized what had happened to actually get shook up by it all. And that is a good thing.

Gosh Tina, so sorry your vehicle is a mess. Seems it's something all the time.

It rained here again this afternoon. Looking from the window I think we got another 1/2 inch. Goody goody.

I am a little more upset about my near perfect driving record. No tickets, no accidents while I was driving, etc. But I also hurt for my poor van. I was pretty proud of it.

We won't count his accident against you Tina. What can you do when someone runs a red light?

I was just out rinsing a layer off of Jonni's car so I can use it without blushing tomorrow. It is hard when you live on a dirt road with a dirt driveway to keep your vehicles spanking clean.

It was a bright beautiful sunny day when I woke up an hour ago and now it's soooooooo dark! Guess we'll get some more rain this morning - we had so much yesterday that the pond is all bubbled over with dead algae this morning!

Good morning. I slept in this morning. I decided not to stress myself and keep Ted home from school. We will still go out later as there are things I need to do. But not having a time clock to go by will help.
No after effects from the fender bender yesterday so that is good.
It is to be triple digits again today. And I have a lot of irrigating to do.

First day of "farm shopping" was o.k. Not great but o.k. I saw two box turtles having marital relations. That was interesting.
