My red onions never get very big and I was wondering what am I doing wrong. I have been trying to grow nice red onions for years with little success. I even bought expensive red onion sets to try this year and they did worse than the ones I get at the local feed mill. can anyone suggest anything?

my white and yellow onions, as well as garlic, do just fine.

thanks

I hope someone comes along to answer. I've had the same problem. Beautiful white onions; puny red ones. Although they still taste better than store bought.
