What do you guys do about watering your garden when you are out of town? Hubby and I will be going away for 3 days our anniversary (4years!!! YAY!) and I am worried about my garden.. I had thought about maybe using gallon jugs or bottles with little holes, but it is so hot I don't know if that will work, or if it would work. Any tips out there? Thanks guys!

Congrats on your anniversary and your trip.
When I have gone away for a long vacation I've always hired a local kid or a friend to water. My last long one was 6 weeks.
If you water really well before you leave and do your plastic jug thing it may work for your four days. Depending on how many jugs you have. And I would do a tiny nail hole in each one for a very slow release.

I strive to never water once things are established. But I'm not in CA. I'd put my money on a friend. You won't be gone long-- if *you* water thoroughly... . Again, I'm not in CA. Here, a good watering would last several days.
