Sent me some fabulous gifts for my birthday!!!
She had themes in mind, as I did for her gifts! Too funny!

Thank you so very much for these fantastic gifts and day brighteners, Diane!



Where to begin?!? With the very sweet card of course! Now... I got a wonderful mug that says "CATS RULE" with cat faces all around it - I LOVE it! I only have 1 other "special" mug, so this will be used often! A very cute cat picture frame which Diane wanted to put a picture of Butterscotch into but her printer wouldn't cooperate so I will do that for her! A cat day planner - will be used often too! And a pretty cat themed emery board - I don't think that will be used because it's too pretty!

And THEN... there are blue cupid's dart flower seeds - we had been talking about those months ago - can't wait to grow them! And some large peat pots to start the seeds in - fantastic packing idea!!! Inside the peat pots was a tube which had the seeds and some blue birthday balloons! Very clever way to keep the pots in shape, and add to the gifts!

And THEN AGAIN is the prettiest turquoise blue stained glass butterfly potsitter! It's on a pot outside for now, but will move into this room when I clean up for winter. (see all the moss on the pot? That is from the very wet summer we had - this pot was in full sun exposure all day everyday, but we didn't get much of that!) Too funny that we sent each other a stained glass piece!


Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd THEN........ there is this bottle of pineapple soda!!!
Diane has been telling me how delicious pineapple soda is, for months now!
I have not been able to find it in any of my stores, so she sent me a bottle!
Can't wait 'til it's cold enough to drink!!!

Last but CERTAINLY NOT least is the wonderful hummingbird spinner - blue of course!
It's so nice and big and I hung it from my birdfeeder pole on the deck so I can see it out of all my back windows, and while I sit on the deck. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! Thank you so very much again, Diane, my SSS!

Great gifts, as usual. I thought your pot was painted that way - didn't think it was moss.

Such wonderful gifts from one good friend to another. Diane you did a fantastic job of getting just the right gifts for Lynne.---Lynne---I can almost see you smile by the way you told us of all the wonderful gifts.

Inside that very cool cat mug were 3 scratch off tickets from Texas, and a tea bag of her favorite flavor - Constant Comment! I have never had scratch offs before - gotta go read how to do them - wish me luck? [

Pineapple soda,, I knew that one would get you going,, Who would send a soda in the mail??



So sorry it's so late ,, I just wanted to pack the box full But time was running out,, and I hate sending things people won't use,, and a Box only 1/2 full so I filled it up with newspaper,, happy reading

Girl I looked hard and Long for a spinner in BLUE with a hummingbird It had to be Blue and it had to have a hummingbird Said I Be sure to "fan out" the spinner. it looks awesome with the hummingbird spinning,, I love the one Sheri sent me last year. I enjoy it every day.
I know you don't drink Tea often But that one is my favorite of all teas,, I drink Constant Comment w/ honey when I have headaches . seems to help. But it's not very good as an Iced tea.

Well I almost Beat the end of September but not quite,, I'll do better Next year,, :wink:

So sorry - we did not win - but it was fun playing!

The spinner is great - I did know to fan it out, and I had the deck lights on while we ate dinner inside and I could see it spinning the entire time! I love that it's so big that I can see it well from many of our windows!

I think I might be getting a bit used to drinking tea these days - had the organic peppermint the past 2 days. I look forward to trying yours tomorrow. Did you say you were having trouble finding it in the stores? I can look in mine here.

I'm feeling Lots better just a wretched cough but I can at least breath deeper now,, Upper respiratory infection is NOT FUN on top of a sinus infection,, thanks for asking.

Awwwwwwwww Those lottery scratch off ~~~~ ya just never know some of them win Big! Just not your time I guess.

We'll have to try it again,, I need to send Cindy some,, We used to play By Mail,, Maybe she could use a moments Fun with scratching some off again,, :wink:

but hey do you drink the decaf or the regular---

the regular can be found around here if you hunt---but the decaf is VERY hard to find

I drink the regular Carol,, I don't drink decaff anything,,

I sure hope you can find it there somewhere,, I love sunkist brand pineapple soda!
