It is raining here today and a bit cold, but all morning I've been thinking about Autumn Decorations I would like to do. Can't quite decide what I might like this year! So, I'd really like to know what you all are doing for your own decorations. Maybe I'll get inspired by your good ideas. Merme

Funny you should ask this today, Merme, as I plan on putting out my Halloween decorations when I get back from the store today - IF it's not raining.

Maybe I'll get inspired by your good ideas. Here's my idea...same one I always do... I let the leaves fall out of the trees and then I have pretty fall leaves all over the ground. It looks very "fallish" til I eventually rake them up or they (hopefully) blow into the neighbor's yard.

I am doing the same thing, Cindy. Well, outside I cleaned up my leaves due to fire danger. But indoors I'm saying that the cobwebs in the corners are Halloween decorations.

Well maybe the weekend when it warms up I will get Joe to get my scarecrow down and sit it in it's little wagon on the front porch, and take out the rest of the Halloween stuff- to cold today still - it's only 37* out there and it's almost noon... brrrrr. I will add some fake spiderweb stuff to the porch and add the bugs and things... got to get a couple punkins too... it's really coming to fast for me this yr- being down for so long got me way behind... My decorations: Cindy: I have no trees to afford me the "fall leaves look" outside. Outdoors I have a scarecrow fallish garden flag in my small flower bed in front. There is a fall wreath on my front door. I have a suction cup hook on the glass to hold it up. Indoors on my mantle I have a ceramic scarecrow , a ceramic pumpkin, 3 artificial gords and a wooden sign that spells 'harvest'. So far that is the extent of my "fall" desorations. next monday I will replace all of the above with a halloween garden flag, a halloween door decoration, a ceramic ghost for the mantel and 2 large artificial pumpkins. One that lights up for outside & one that does not for the harth of the fireplace. There will also be several black spider-web looking doilies for the livingroom.

I can do that---BRB First is my ghost---but he will not be put up until next week when I change from "fall" to "Halloween". Right now he is sitting on some storage shelves I have in the basement. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/ceramics8-21-09003-1.jpg) Below is the photo of my "harvest decoration" and my boughten ceramic pumpkin. (behind is a photo of my Emily & her DH Chris) ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/Fall2009pictures001.jpg) Next is my ceramic scarecrow. I made him myself in my ceramics class. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/Fall2009pictures002.jpg) next post please

Next up is the last items that are on my mantle. These are my 3 artificial pumpkins. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/Fall2009pictures003.jpg) below is the fall wreath that is on my front door. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/Fall2009pictures004.jpg) Lastly is the fall garden Flag that I have out in my front flower bed. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/Fall2009pictures005.jpg) Next monday, after I put them up & if I remember I will take pictures of the rest of my Halloween decorations and post them.

Dodge & Merme: I made a Ceramic thread in Hobbies & Crafts.---as I move along I will post more of my projects, but for now only Halloween items are there. I chose to do it this way so I can add to the thread as I have more offerings... Below are a few of my Halloween things not posted in my hobbies thread. ![[Linked Image]](http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff68/JunieGirl_2007/Halloween2009010.jpg) Barb: I like the idea of Haley getting Froggie Puzzels---I hope she enjoys them---

I do not fire them myself--I have been going to the same place since 1988---before that I took a 10 year break to raise the kids some. Now she keeps saying she will retire but we keep telling her we will come anyway---- Yes barb, I am on the picture--I am the lady with glasses on.
