Hi everyone I've been so busy,, First let me say I've missed coming here. A friend of mine that lives 3 hours away came to Dallas to have spinal surgery AND have a calcium deposit removed AND a spur removed on either side of her spine along with spinal surgery it's self. She has been recovering at my house for the past 5 weeks. I have learned so much in caring for a spinal surgery patient It's very time consuming, it's very slow healing, and it's very demanding as a care giver in helping with recovery. She has recovered enough to make the 3 hour ride back to her house. I'm glad I was there for her, But it limited my time for "me time"., When I did have 'me time' I was taking pictures waiting for the opportunity to edit and post them here,, I have Emmy Pictures, bird pictures and this fabulous sunrise The day Connie left, Connie and I got up early and went outside and watched the sun come up. The pictures doesn't do it justice at all, it was absolutely spectacular . God did good giving colors to the sky
I don't think I've seen such a beautiful sunrise here since I moved here in 1995. it felt like all was right with the world watching the sun rise that morning,I came here and read a bit I just didn't take the time to post, But I have missed the Garden helper. Thanks Merme for letting me call you and gripe how I just wanted my bed back,, LOL,, sleeping on the day bed was not good for my back I just needed to sleep stretched out Thanks for understanding I wasn't complaining about caring for someone just complaining I need some GOOD sleep  Bill> Please PLEASE take care of your self, You may be a gnome but gnomes get sick and seek help to heal too! Let me know If I should send Fairy rose Quarts to Cedar Hill with her healing powers your way

What a truly lovely sunrise, Diane, though I would have been worried about the weather if I saw so much red in the sky so early! And don't worry about your complaints. They were valid. I'm glad I could listen and try to encourage you in all your big efforts for your friend. But I'm more than glad you have your bed back and can finally stretch out! It is good to see you on here, my friend, you have been sorely missed! Merme
We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Spectacular pictures!!! That sunrise is absolutely gorgeous!
I'm so glad you were able to take care of Connie during all that time, Diane, but also glad that you now have some "me time" back, along with your more comfortable bed.
As for sleeping with feet stretched out - I haven't been able to do that since we've had cats in the house - they just LOVE to sleep on our feet and are like lead weights if we try to move them!
