you would not believe the trouble I just had with Photobucket.

Is it just me or is anyone else having issues with it???

Just to copy a photo to put it on the forum here.....
I had to pick out a photo choses
1) share--then click on it
2) the look for "get code link"--& click on it

all the codes will then appear & one can chose theor proper code. & proceed as usual.

I did see a choice at the bottom of this page & it said I could chose to see the links either "always" or "on a mouse over"---so I chose mouse over--& clicked on save--well it still would not work except by the way I described.

is it me???? or is anyone else seeing a change???

Mine changed to that a couple month ago. I am not thrilled with it but have learned to use it. I liked the mouse over better too.

so when I was given the mouse over option, that was their attempt at humor ?

if they were not going to let me chose the mouse-over option (or the "always" option) why make it look like I had those options??

Thanks though for getting back to me.--
and I gotta tell you, I am about ready to ditch both Photobucket and Facebook.
They need to stop with the constant annoying "upgrades" already. egad

Carol, I got so annoyed with Photobucket a while ago, that I rarely use it any more. For me, it's more trouble than it is worth, so I'm looking for some place else to store my photos.

Cindy called me last night and said that her computer is down due to a malware on photobucket. She said that a linked photo isn't a problem, but when someone goes to a pb users page they are vulnerable to the malware attack.

If you have a 'My photobucket' link in your sig line, please remove it until they (pb) find a solution to this virus!

I read in a thread by Bill that photobucket is having a problem with "malware". What in the world is malware and what does it do to you?

Thanks,

Merme

DD just told me that malware is a program that hacks into your computer and steals information...

I have malware protector on my computer. Photobucket says it's been resolved, But to protect yourself Be sure you have it installed. Most programs like norton, avast, etc have a malware protector in it.

Thanks for that information, Diane--it makes me feel better, for sure.
I do not need my computer getting "sick". My free repair man is overseas right now. egad
