Breakfast, done. Now I have to let my stomach settle a bit before I head outside.

Our breakers have been this way for as long as we've lived here. We've pretty much got it figured out what outlets to not overload so we don't usually trip the breaker anymore. Every once in a while the kids will forget and run two things in the kitchen. I think our house was originally wired for much lower wattage since they didn't have all the higher wattage appliances that we have these days. My brother is an electrician and said as long as we're not tripping the breaker regularly then we have nothing to worry about.

Cheryl, did you ever watch Green Acres? On that show they had every electrical appliance numbered and could only plug in enough stuff to go up the number 7.


I want to go outside and plant stuff too. It's about 60 here today.

It's cold today and been snowing a little off and on... got about 3-4 inches on the ground out there too...
I have been taking it pretty easy around here-- Joe does dinner a lot- or helps me cook when I cook big... he cleans up too cause I keep missing stuff and it's so darn frustrating I would rather not even try it at the time- I can read and kind of listen watch tv as long as it's not reading anything involved- be so glad when this is over...
Cheryl my kitchen in Az was like that too- could only use 2 things at one time- we owned though and finally got my BIL to rewire it for us- he did some here for us too when he came to visit ... you're right about appliances taking more power now... and we have more elec stuff too....
I have got to get the tax stuff done and ready for the tax guy- Joe will take it too him- almost forgot about it... not a good thing....
Well off to get busy with something or another--- need to dust my office- that I can do with the swiffer....

I had a little nap and then had to wait til Maxi got off the computer so I could jump back on. He'll get his laptop back tomorrow and I'll be relieved!

He put on a pot of coffee for me and now he's in the shower, so I have a little time before he wants the pc back!

Bedtime for me as well...9:30 here...got to get Emma ready for school in the a.m.

Got about half the gardening done, which is pretty good considering how bad it has gotten. Hopefully next weekend I finish up the rest and trim the hedges too. I just put on a pot of water to boil for dinner so I'm not on long. It was so great to sit outside outside for a few hours, even if the job was tedious. I stopped before it became too painful, which is pretty good for me because I usually just keep on going wanting to get it done, but I stopped myself this time and took a hot shower and some aleve right away so I'm hoping I won't be too sore tomorrow. Have a great night everyone and I hope everyone has a happy Monday tomorrow!

Hi, everyone . I read a little ways back where Sheri said it was 60o I think, that's about what it was here today also and it was so beautiful!

I wish I would have had a camera outside with me today! My grandkids came over for a "play-day" with grandma, and we played outside then had icecream and then had a Webkinz pet party! But....that's not what I would have wanted a picture of... I would have had my granddaughter take a picture of me and my grandson playing ball!!! I would have posted it!

I beat him in one game and he beat me once, and as he was leaving he said..
"It's ON grandma! When I come back we'll have the championship game!

I love it!! It's such fun being a grandma, and I'm so glad I moved here!

I didn't do much outside today. It is raining and has been wet and cool all day.

It's suppose to rain here tomorrow. , but this weekend was great,
so I am a happy camper....speaking of which, I wish I could go camping! That is the only thing I miss from all the things I did in Calif.

Gee, I finally realized what time it was and sent my son to bed. He is a stinker because when he wants to, he'll ignore the clock until I notice.

I just lost track of time tonight because dinner was late. I think I've been off the clock, really, all day.


But golly, we are surely enjoying the Olympics.

A couple of times when I've posted and hit submit, something strange flashed on the screen for a second before my post did. LOL I reminded me of a time back when some 'glitch' was going on and a few of us saw the Hostess Lounge! LOL

Got Emma off to school, noticed her face is swollen...tooth abscess I think. I'll need to take her to the dentist tomorrow . I won't be here much of the day, I have to go paint the baby nursery for my other God-daughter....busy, busy, busy....

What color will you be painting the nursery?

It's already been started...multi-coloured stripes...it's a boy. Just finishing up the rest and trim today...She's having a meltdown pregnancy stress...So I promise to have it all done and the nursery set up by tonight. She has 5 weeks left to go before the birth.

I'll answer your p.m. tonight Merme...I've got to go get my day started. ttyl...

I bet she is anxious now, so near the end. It is good of you to help! Having it done will probably ease her mind quite a bit!

After such a beautiful weekend, today is grey, gloomy and rainy.

I'm anxiously waiting for the mailman....hoping to get TWO boxes of Kinz Pets today!

Right now I need to go fix something to eat...my stomach is growling so load I can hear it over the TV!

I mailed the seeds again tody. Thursday they ought to be there.My mail leaves at 1 pm mostly
2 had 2.5 beautiful snowless days.

I would have been on longer today but my PC shut down and would not start again! It would only go in standby mode.

When I got home after dialysis, Maxi was playing on it as though nothing had ever been wrong!

In for a few....got all the painting finished at God-daughters, Emma to the dentist(it was an abscess~she's on medication for 10 days)....what a long day.

well, I said I wasn't going to make dinner tonight after dialysis & I bought Maxi things he could fix for himself. But I ended up making it anyway!

Now it is homework time and the house is quiet.


They are forecasting snow tomorrow, Wednesday & Thursday for us.
