I saved some pods from the R of S down at the end of the drive - the owner of the house has often encouraged me to take cuttings and dig out the little plants that grow under it.

By the time I got around to it, it was too late - the seedlings had gone back into the earth, so I just settled for grabbing some pods.

I put some in soil around Christmas time, and kept them under the fluorescent lamp . . . there's little wee seedlings in their pots!

I'm curious to see how far they're gonna' go.

The sunshine is calling me, the dirt says come and play, the little seeds yawn for a nap, the weeds yell go away!

Thanks, Eva . . . let's hope those cuties grow to be big cuties.

I expect the most I'll get is little shrubs the size of your average geranium, but even so, it'll be 'plants' and everything helps toward greening our environment.

I'll keep y'all posted on their progress.
