Although I've pulled a few weeds today.

Today Rod put my plastic edging on each side of the bed that I will have my Black oil sunflowers in.

Then I planted my mammoth sunflower seeds (thanks again Sheri) and my Black oil sunflower seeds.

Thanks Barb.
see, with all of this mesh in my abdomen, and the bad back on top of it, bending over or stooping is not a really big problem--getting back up is however a huge issue.

with this kneeling bench I have something to push myself up with. thumbup

Welcome to the club....i been doing that also.. Digging today.

My neighbors get their lawns sprayed 2 times a year to eliminate that .

Not sure I want to pay the price>>

You can make dandelion salad.

Some eat that too.

I planted winter rye and red clover in my garden spots last winter and right now I don't have any weeds. I'm putting card board between the planted rows.

bop that's good, less weeding for you.

I moved two over-grown woody perennials today....kept a small slip to retry.

People must think I'm crazy...digging outside at 6:30 a.m.

Soon, if I don't get out as the sun lightens the sky, I won't. Because it gets hot here.
Today I spread more planting mix. That is 24 bags, 3 cu ft each, I used up the hill. Drove a couple of t-posts and planted some shrubbery. The outdoor bathroom is getting more and more close to 'finished'. Pics will be shared when it is.

I had wanted to p ut this is Blooming fine, but since this is where we were talking about this at, I thought to put this here.

Sheri--Barb-Thorny. Below is 1 "hill" of Black Oil sunflower seeds that are coming up. None others visable yet.

About Sheri's mammoth sunflower seeds, one is up but "something" bit a few bites out of it, so I could not make myself pake a photo---
More updates coming later I promise. bow

Today I received an impatiens. I do not know what color it is, but it is in a 4 inch pot. We'll put it in a larger container on the porch once we pass our frost free date in a few weeks.
