Well, as it is Sunday and I do not cook on Sunday we will have frozen Pizza--well I will put it in the oven, but I figure that does not count as cooking.

Poor boy, there is not even any salad to go with it, why

Today I was planning London Broil, artichokes, and potatoes, but Maxi went to his sleep-over at 4, so I put the meat away until tomorrow.

I had fried potato and egg.

Trust me, the ONLY reason why Rod grills is because I informed him early on that I DID NOT grill out.
Rod's mom did the very little grilling that was done at their house---cooking after all is woman's work. rolz But in my house, my dad did the grilling, so I refused.

Just like cutting the grass. In my DH's father's world, (farming/elevator running) women do the grass cutting, because the men are either at the elevator working or in the fields working, so no time for grass...BUT this boy had lots of time for grass. Sad to say I would not/could not even cut grass during wheat harvests, when Rod still worked at his dad's elevator.

The way Rod is, if I had of ever once helped him by cutting grass or grilling he would not EVER again do either. badday

Barb, BBQ chicken is my favorite

We had ground beef rolled into small meatballs, cooked and then smothered in green beans, diced tomatoes and small shell pasta. It all simmered until the shells were cooked. Delish!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Yup, Carol is right: you can use any pasta your husband will eat. I just happened to have the very small shells on hand.

Oh and I forgot: Maxi made us chocolate pudding for dessert and I surprised him by adding the last of the whipped cream!

tonight I made supper just after the storms, and I was not convinced that anothert line was not going to come thru while I was cooking so it was a short & sweet meal for us

we had breakfast pork chops, (thin boneless chops) and parmesan noodles.
Then, for dessert, we had bread pudding that I had made earlier in the day.
Rod put whipped cream on his.

Dodge I love that meal. mom would make it with cut up potatoes & cook iot all in one pot--yummy.

My Hubby's stomach can't take that so I do it seperate and buy turkey kielbasa.

but I love it all cooked together. and before you ask, NO the potatoes do not get hard.--I have no idea why but they do not.

Tonight was a cholesterol nightmare.
We had sausages cut up into medalions & fried to heat/cook them, fried potatoes & scrambled eggs.--and oh, the redeeming dish?? cut up cherry tomatoes.

Tonight I baked fish fillets and then put them on kaiser rolls for big sandwiches. We also had cups of soup to go with.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Pizza and beer. A rare dinner for me because pizza and beer that I can have is more expensive than the regular kind. It's nice to have a treat once in while though.

Stir Fry.

I get a really good Asparagus Stir Fry from Wal-Mart -- Their great value brand. It has many terrific vegetables in it and best of all, no sauce. I like to make my own stir fry sauce.

So, the Asparagus stir fry, browned ground beef added, and the rice. YUMMY!
