It always seems that I have several projects waiting!

The other day I told Maxi that I had started a Pooh bear project for him when he was quite small & never finished it. He laughed and said "Thanks for my birthday present, Mom, but I'm 16 now!" haha So I offered to finish it and save it for his children....

So in a back stash I have a couple of unfinished projects.

And then I have a couple of project I keep meaning to start but haven't yet.

I want to make a special table cloth.
I would like to make a Sampler Crochet afghan.

I just need to find the umph to get started!

What about you? Do you have unfinished projects waiting? Or things you need to begin?

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Merme. I have so many undone projects boiling in my mind. Thinking and planning pleasant projects puts me to sleep at night. Some are gardening projects. They need time and space to workout. Some are woodworking projects and likewise need time and space. Maybe a little money might help too. At my feet I have an unfinished afghan in squares that just needs a little more putting together. I lost enthusiasm for it last winter. And so much more. I am constantly designing something mentally.

When my valarie was 18 months old, I took a quilting class. There were shipping issues and we had to wait on homemade templates & such. Long story short I was not able to finish my quilt. (it was a 12 block queen sampler)
I jokingly said well at this rate it will be a wedding gift for Valarie.

I am here to tell you that Val will be 29 her next birthday, and this next summer she will celebrate her 6th anniversary.---I still only have 6 of the 12 "quilt as you go" blocks done. The good news is all 12 blocks are cut out as is the 1 ft wide edging that goes around the sewn together blocks.

at this rate it will not be done for a grandchild's wedding--not that I have a grandchild yet. nono

In my defence the template was off 1/2 inch---had I of realized this I could of just made them all the wrong size and they would of matched. all I would have had to do then would of been to adjust my trim & binding to fit--not a big deal. Being new to this though, I thought it was me, and so I had adjusted 5 of the squares before I caught on--so now I have to adjsut all 12---and that is the real reason why I have not finished the quilt. I really should get to finishing it one day though.

I started to knit a pair of socks last year, put them down and now can't even remember how to do it. I have to use 4 sets of tiny wooden needles and I can't remember which goes where.

Last winter I started a scarf for Johnny. Never finished it either. Maybe when this test is over. Hope you guys are praying.

....UP.....

Too funny...I remember the time I knit my DD a sweater when she was a baby...she was 3 by the time I finished it lol

I also have a Raggety Ann quilt topper here my Aunt bought to make a quilt for her DD when she was 5...Well her daughter is 24 and the topper is still in the package. I took it here with plans that I'll make it for the daughter if she ever has a little girl.
