Hi all ,
Need prayers again too... my Mom fell again and broke her other hip.. she is not in good shape at all.. didn't know my sis or my neice- did know her grandson though.. my neice says she hasn't been the same since they did the knee surgery, she has lost more vision and the memory of how to read, do her puzzle books or even enjoy watching tv... she is confused most of the time too... I knew it would be a matter of time but was hoping she might not go downhill so fast with my sis...I am not suprised but sad too... I don't know how to feel...

This tragedy has touched the lives of so many people, I just feel I should post about it to raise prayer support for everyone.

Jeff was a local fellow, greatly loved by lots of people. His mom is in dialysis with me, we sit together and talk often. My good pal Angel was was friend of his.

Over the holiday weekend, Jeff & his wife put on a yard sale. He was standing in his yard, having a fun time, when a large truck careened off the road and struck and killed him. The truck had been going the wrong way & tried to do a u-turn and killed poor Jeff who was just standing in his own yard!

1600 people showed up for his wake... it was a 4 hour wait in line to just get in the building. Over 600 showed up for his funeral. People are just smashed by this awful accident. His mom told me today the family is doing as well as can be, people are still coming in from all over, and lots of people are still sending food to keep the family well supported.

But I must say, Janice looks terrible, poor thing.

Please remember all these folks in your prayers as they suffer this loss.

Thanks you all for all you do to help me stay sane- last I heard they will operate tonit or tomorrow- they keep giving her the meds when they know she can't have them before surgery.... sure hope she does all right but okay with it if she decides its her time to go- she is in pain all the time and lost most of her mind and memory- just to sad to even thing about at this point-

Well last I heard Mom made it thru the surgery and is doing okay... my sis an neice are not very good at communicating with me-- so guess no new is good news .... so glad I have all of you to vent with-

A former hostess here, Catlover would very much like prayers for her upcoming cataract surgery, that it may restore her eyesight. She is quite blind. And there are other health concerns in general to add to prayers for her.

Shirley had a corneal transplant today,, she is recovering at her son's house,, she will have the other eye done weeks later. Keep her in your prayers as well.

There is lots of that eye surgery going on in our areas. My 2 sis an brother had it .
DOnt know if it was the same type.

They can see without glasses today. Praying she is the same.

I think we just kinda ignore the 100 rule, esp if someone is still on the active prayer list--then eventually someone starts a new one????
