Hi everyone! My appointment went fairly well this morning. They said they were able to get some good samples, however they did have to pretty deep to get to one of them so I'm pretty sore and can't move my neck around like normal. I'm icing it every hour or so and came home from work early to lay on the couch and relax. I had taken some anti-anxiety meds and they made me tired and sluggish but I was able to get what I needed to get done at work. We just finished dinner and I'm icing once again before we head out to the video store.

Hi Cheryl--I guess I missed the issue here?/ may I ask what the problem is???

I had two biopsies in my thyroid today. There are two lumps on my thyroid that have grown, they took two samples from each lump plus they numbed me first. This amounted to a total of 6 needles in my neck this morning.

Ouch, Cheryl. I am sorry. I hope for good news. When do you get results?

They told me two to three business days. So, Friday at the soonest, but most likely Monday.

Oh my--I am so sorry--I will be praying for you.

Sorry I've been a little MIA lately, but my life got outta control for a bit. Hope to be on more often again soon.

Today I got a haircut (YAY!) and I have a bunch of errands to run. Tonight Maxi and I are going to a play at his new school. There will be a reception first and then the production of Godspell. I'm so tired I'd rather stay home all day and not go tonight but these errands can't wait and he does need this chance to rub shoulders with other new students at his school.

I've been using one Red rose Tea Bag and one Lipton Lemon Honey Tea Bag together in my big cup. Ohmygoodness, it is the nectar of the gods!

We'll still be here when you get everything settled, Merme. Sure has been quiet in here today huh? Tonight the kids are cleaning up the house for me. Aros's cousin is visiting/spending the night tomorrow. I'm planning on a nice long morning run, followed by a couple of allergy shots and then I'll probably cook a late breakfast for the two of us. Other than that all I have to worry about is laundry and then I'll have nothing to do on Saturday. I love having nothing to do on at least one of my days off. I might even attempt starting on sewing a dress. We'll see about that one.

Nothing to do sounds good. But there is so much needing done that I feel guilty if I take a lazy day.

I am so grateful it is Friday. Having a weekend arriving sounds like a bit of heaven.
