I think it would be fun for us to show our DIY achievements, in our gardens, landscaping, yards . Projects we think of our self and do by ourselfs..
By seeing others ideas as a finished project we can incorporate some of those ideas in our own yard and gardens. Whether it's using rocks, old picket fences, or wooden/ or wrought-iron furniture, window frames,, old pitchers, and containers, wagons, tires, broken pieces of an arbor,,, whatever, to enhance our yards or create a focal point,,
If you have done this or in the process of doing this please post a picture as a DIY garden project!!!
I know we have a lot of creative people here.. For those of you that don't have an outside garden,, there are creative ways to make DIY inside gardening focal point as well!!!
Lets see those Pictures!!!!
This is my rock tower ... most of you have already seen.., But to start this topic off.. This is MY DIY Finished Project...
Now show us yours ~~

diane im so glad you posted your rock pile in here! you did a awsome job om it, my hubby just bought me a green house, so i was thinking of turning the old home made out of scrap wood green house into a sitting area, like riping all the plastic off and putting latice around it and growing morning gloriea and other vines around it. i could put 4 caddy corner seats in it,,,,,im still thinking about it, but if i do i'll post pics in here. good idea for a topic ;)

I don't really have any pics yet of my garden now that's it's finished and growing but I do have a question. What does DIY stand for? I'm still no pro at internet lingo.
Oh okay. Sorry, guess I must be getting old or something. Oh well. If it stays clear enough for me when I get home I'll take a pic of my garden and all the brick work I did. I think I have a before pic somewhere on my computer also.
Hmmmmm ??? Ohhh well don't let me get anymore Ideas!!!
I still have a couple of things now,, I just need a solar fountain and I'll be all set with another Project!! But the only place you can get one is off the internet!! and I don't Buy off the internet!! I may have to talk some one in to doing it for me!!! Tee hee

Yes those are canna, I moved them this year out to the front along the fence. The block holes are empty, I do have some rosemary planted at the end but that was after the picture was taken.
I also have Kiwi planted on both sides of the Trelis.
I am reworking it some this year, besides moving the canna, the birdbath was leaning so I am going to level it up a bit,
One OS to rule them, one OS to find them: One OS to bring them all and in the darkness bind them in the Land of Redmond where the shadows lie.
any herb would be cool in the block holes!! Provided they take full sun! That is awesome!!! I think Jiffy was talking about doing something with blocks too!

Ohh Man you could doo soo much with them in creative design!!!
I can even imagine a small block house with sedum and flower, veg and fruit growing out holes in the blocks of the outside walls and the inside use as a "hothouse for germinating or whatever!!!
