Good morning/afternoon!

Geeze, Merme! She didn't look? You are so right about people not taking responsibility for their own actions.

Well... the water came back on late last evening. And now it's off again. The road is blocked (pavement failure, I think it's why the water is off), so we have to go the long way into town. I need to bake some bread, and the recipe doesn't call for water, but I think I'll wait awhile so I can clean up as I go, rather than stack dirty baking things everywhere.

I just hope the water is on before John comes home. Off to jump on the ATV and evaluate the damage done by the storms.

Happy day to alll!

Hi everybody!

Well, today has just felt so fractured, I can barely tell if I am coming or going!

The storms in the area just increased the humidity. Thanks a lot! lol

Waiting on more news of my niece. She is having an MRI at this moment to see if the cancer has spread elsewhere.

She must be scared outta her mind & her husband is being a ninkcompoop! madd And I'm 500 miles away and can't go down & sit with her OR smack him in the head! So what's an auntie to do, I wanna know?!

Gotta go make supper before my kid starts crying! lol

Can't believe I missed Shirley! And I've had that freaky spider here/spider gone experience also! And I don't like that one bit! yikes

OR smack him in the head!

Merme-- I've been away for a while so pardon me if this is wrong-- but you seem to be a little more fiesty than I'd remembered. You go!! Smack 'em up side the head. Especially if they don't turn to look behind when they back up!

AFGP-- you are always hiding when you are not hiding. Geeze.

UPDATE from the last coffee house. The flashes of lights we saw were instances of St. Elmo's fire (not the movie, the real phenomenon). You can find more about it at wikipedia, but bascially we had a really charged atmosphere, and some pointy objects (grass blades) and kapamomlama... out very own light show.

In other new, our main thoroughfare road is out of commission. Some of you will remember that we moved from Cincy to MIss. for a reason. We have not been disappointed.

Off to do some emailing. Rest well!

I should have gone to bed an hour ago. I was just too tired to get up and get ready.
Today was Teddy's birthday. My baby boy is 16, old enough to drive. It won't happen but he is old enough. It is hard to believe.
Good night all.

I am in but getting ready to take Ted to school. It is going to be another warm day today. I like it but am not really ready for summer heat yet. I will try not to whine about 80's.

Well Tina--it's like I say--
it isn't ice & it isn't snow.
in your case it isn't fires nor floods either.

I figure we must be thankful for small favors sometimes.

Yes, I am on a constant search for those silver linings.
Ted is up, dressed and breakfasted. His lunch is packed. He just needs his shoes in a few minutes and we are ready to scoot out the door.

I am hoping Thorny is well. And not too affected by the floods and tornadoes and things. It has been over a week and a half since he posted.

Hope everyones having a better day than me.

Good morning all.

I was so busy yesterday, I worked the morning then had to go with DH to town for the afternoon and evening. We only got home at 9:30 pm last night.

The sun is shining, calling for a shower this afternoon..hope it holds off. I still have sods to pick up and throw away.

Hi, Kim. I think I am fine. I had a busy day today and not in my garden. But tomorrow I should be able to put in some hours out there.
