You know I always wondered about why things change color? I plant pink daffodils, the bloom pink the following year then slowly go more peach then to a yellow. Is it reverting back to it's natural characteristics?

The same with Astilbes, I can't keep a red bloom more than two years, then they start coming back pink.

I also have pink lilies starting to go peachy last year..

Is there a color boost fertilizer I could use?

Plants like hydrangeas will change color with the pH, but plants that are hybrids usually change color from reverting back to the dominant parent plant, and there is nothing you can do except get new plants.
