Below is one of the seedlings from the Mammoth Sunflower seeds that Sheri sent me--
ya know Sheri--we should start out own thread--it can be a record of our progress from start to end---why, perhpas, we can even let Barb post a pic or two---

The mammoth ones are doing pretty well for me. The others have just broken ground but I may have planted them at different times. I can't remember.

sounds good to me--could/would you like to start a Thread??? I am going to be really busy from here on out until after Mother's Day.
if you would rather I did I can do so next monday.

I will come in when I get a few minutes & add my starting date & info & the beginning photos that I have.--does that sound good?/ or is there a special format we should use???

I hate hand digging in sods.
I try to sucker hd into that with his Payloader.. b

2ft by 16 ft at a time Dodge..we have a front end loader here also but the wheels do more damage to the lawn then the bucket does to the garden Hand digging is the way to go, slow but works best.

I planted a 30 foot row of green beans today..Now I am finished with beans.
Had a 10 foot one the other day. The ground was still damp from the rain an I thought that would be a good thing.

Yesterday I just stood there and admired my work.

Today, I'll put out a few more tomato plants. Got to pick up some dill seeds.

Today I moved my clematis to a better spot...birdhouse pole.

Today I am getting blown away , an freezint.. It is 48º headed to 34 tonite.

Not a lovable day.

it was sooooooooooooooooooooooo windy here yesterday. Dried everything out so bad. Today it's cool but no rain in sight. Gonna have to water a little.

The wind died a little here .
Now frost last nite an blew part of my graper arbor over.Was blowing blooms off my pretty azalea bush not in full bloom yet..

I weeded yesterday also..I need mulch badly

They only saw Spruce barb..and it hauls in the ants.
